    Beloved Kitty is home, and in good spirits. Happy to have her back. She seems no less worse for the wear despite a bath. :) I'm all for excitement in life, but not this kind.

    Kitty is at the vet as a precaution, since nic can be absorbed through the skin. I washed her paws immediately (I will have the scars to prove this), and doc thinks she should be fine, but he's keeping her there to monitor and run blood tests. (Not to mention getting a thorough bath...) Not...

    Morning, all! I do not say "good", because the morning has been anything but... Woke up and came downstairs to find my P3 on it's side on my desk--surrounded by broken glass, juice, and kitty paw prints. On the bright side, it was easy to find out which kitty it was, as only one had vanilla...

    You do have a point there! The kids keep me on my toes, too. They've been the best therapy possible in so many ways--not to mention a never-ending source of amusement. My 13-year old on hearing Mitt Romney wouldn't seek nomination for 2016: "Dad! Dad!!!! Romney just rage quit!"

    Believe it or not, the stroke recovery was the easy part. A bad neck injury in November of '12 is what has me disabled. I've been through 2 surgeries already trying to rebuild my spine, and may have more to go. It's life--you don't argue, you just drive on... :)

    My life is being disabled, so I tend to spend time in front of the computer until I'm in too much pain to do so... That's a big part of why I enjoy being active here--it keeps the brain from turning to oatmeal. You definitely have to be on your "A" game in THIS thread! :D
