    I've lived in places where this 33" is child's play, but in this area it doesn't happen with anywhere near the same frequency. They don't have the familiarity with dealing with it that other places do, so it creates a bit of a nightmare scenario. I stocked my groceries earlier in the week...

    Currently 33" of snow in my back yard. I can't tell in the front because the drifts have covered the door and front window. 24 degrees and 25+MPH winds with gusts up to 40... Tonight's menu: Ham, green bean casserole, and wild rice.

    Daywork onboard 10-8, 10-99. We are as prepared as we're going to be for the East Coast snowstorm. Beef stew is in the crock pot, and the bread dough is doing it's first rise. And plenty of shiraz and cabernet to go with it. Let it snow, says I! :)
