    accuracy of syringes

good lord... that's far too much work and potential for error/cross contamination of flavors IMHO... I use a 300g/0.001g scale from tmart that I got for $95. I have a 200g calibration weight. I calibrate about once a week and the scale never drifts more than .002g or so. I have about 30...

seriously! how many drops per ml?

all you really need: 2 squeeze bottles, 1 for PG, 1 for VG 10 cheap droppers for flavors < $20 scale from amazon ejuicecalculator I honestly don't suggest that anyone just starting out go this route... It's way better for them to use simple and traditional methods to see if they really want to...

seriously! how many drops per ml?

Same with any industrial batching process... it's all weighed... When it comes to DIY, I just shake my head at this concept that eyeballing things and counting drops is an accurate way to do this... even more so at the resistance that weighing seems to come up against... a cheap $18 scale from...

seriously! how many drops per ml?

a scale and a program that displays your %'s in grams no drops, no eyeballing a syringe, no fluid dynamics... none of it matters... it just doesn't get any easier

I resolved this problem and it had nothing at all to do with JuiceCalculator... It seems that a couple of my flavors ended up with a Nic% in the ingredient list... all fixed up..

    Drop Question

With all the tools available to us these days and with how inexpensive a scale is for weighing this stuff is, I just shudder every time I hear the word 'drops' when it comes to mixing... It's quite fascinating to see how different every drop can be when you can watch the scale as you add...

    Diy worm!

here's my thoughts on this... 1) this entire thread could have been condensed down to about 1 page if the points were made and substantiated concisely rather than in some kind of weird jr. high version of 20 questions. 2) I am not knocking the premise of the thread nor the opinion of the...

Should I pull the trigger on this order??!!

if you know your own personal flavor profile, perhaps do some research on what other DIY people are using in their recipes. You will probably find some flavors from specific manufacturers that are being used in all kinds of different recipes... on my end, it's things like TFA graham cracker...

    Drop Question

I spent the 1st month or so counting drops and trying to eyeball syringes... I realized that virtually all my flavorings used different size tips or no tips at all, requiring me to find a stand alone dropper and the chore of having to go through all the different tip sizes and calibrate each...

    New Calculator to try

Really great program... Just love it A couple of thought that I had. If these are already in the program, forgive me... My work flow is to typically make a copy of any recipe that I want to make changes to. Unfortunately, there isn't anything that will remind me to do this and I've...

    measuring small quantities

I recently went to weighing... it just seems way more accurate.. the scale I use came from Amazon and cost all of $18... but, if you must, I used 10, 5, 3 & 1ml syringes. I also found .5ml syringes somewhere that have the needle attached... haven't used them as they arrived after I started weighing
