    Similar. Mine's not sitting horizontally like that, it's perpendicular to the two pins though (so like a + ). Also, my coil might be a wee bit closer to the air hole than that, maybe by a mm or 2. Finally, cotton wise, that one's always hard to tell from pictures if I'm using enough or not...

    I've done all that blowing it out several times already, every time after it floods. The air hole adjustment screw is now about an additional 2mm past it being flush, so it's sticking out, that's how far open it is. With it this airy, I get about 4 draws before it starts leaking out the air...

    this is a fairly thick liquid, at least 50/50. it's space jam andromeda. but i'll try to open the air hole even more.

    so further to my above, gurgling and leaking out the air hole, should I open or close the air hole more? I can blow it out into a paper towel, and then my next hit will be clean, but then the 2nd hit after that gurgles and floods out the air hole again. Where to troubleshoot?

    Thanks for yet another tip, but I think this thing just hates me!! :glare: I rewicked it, primed the wick and test burned, check, filled it via the bottom fill hole without overfilling, check, even did the "burp" and saw an air bubble go up. I'm thinking, yay not a single leak this time...

    Grrr I think I got the airlock and scorched wick anyway. This is tasting awfully burnt no matter what I try to adjust with the air hole and voltage. :glare: Now to figure out how to check on my wick without having to dump this whole tank. I guess I'll have to syringe it out into an empty bottle...

    Too late! I overfilled it by accident and it all leaked out the drip tip. LOL Seems that the 3rd try (refill) wasn't a charm after all as I still got leaking. Although this one was completely my fault for not paying attention to how full it was getting! :laugh: Thanks for the tips!
