I did a coupe of Cyclone clones by slotting the insulator. Works just fine. -

I am planning on trying a couple of the vct5's when Randy gets some in stock. I read good things about them a while back. Glad you posted this, maybe I will learn some more. -

You would be MUCH better off buying a blem from Rob (Reosmods). Most people say they cannot even find the imperfection. It is pretty rare to find a reo for enough less to make a lot of difference. Good luck. -

If you burned the wick, change it :) It is so cheap you cannot calculate a cost! Congratulations on switching, I switched about 2 months ago and now wonder why it took me so long. -

It has been soaked in Howards. It does have a distinct smell. You need to get some and us it every month at least, it keeps them very nice. -

Rats, I just tried to trade a 18490 for the last week. Finally sold it 2 days ago. -
MECHANICAL REO Woodvil
Here are my 3 old REO woodvils. I sanded & refinished in natural finish. Also sanded the catch cup height to the same as the new ones. The oak was by far the most improved but all 3 of them are much nicer after refinishing Walnut - Oak - Cocobolo. -

The curly oak has a lot of character, more than you would think. I will see if I can find a picture of mine today. -

I sanded my 3 year old oak woodvil & switched it to a natural finish. If you saw/held it you might re-think your opinion of oak. -
