OK, the rebuilt gate has been reinstalled... but I need to have about 35 years removed from my aging body because I had to have Lannie come out and hold the darn thing in position while I attached the clamps to hold it level. I tried, but I could not do it alone. I installed that gate alone only...
This, of course, causes us some problems of our own... like we talk to cows, horses, have chickens sit on our laps while we watch DVDs... cause there ain't no people, so I have started to understand the conversations my cats have with me... (and that is getting scary).
Once upon a time (long long ago in a galaxy far far away) I used to go to the mall and sit and watch all the interesting people. Then one day I decided they weren't interesting anymore. Then one day I decided they weren't even people anymore. Shopping there was never cheap or even a very good...
Don't think I have been in a mall in 15 years. Haven't seen a Chik-fil-a anywhere else. Maybe South Dakota ain't got none... ya know, in favor of Beef-fil-a (it is, after all, cattle country). ;)
There are many times I wish I could UNretire and go back to gainful employment (ya know, that 8 AM - 5PM routine) because I am sure that would be a lot less "work" than what I am doing right now.

Well, I just now logged onto the computer, so this is my first and last post of the day. It was monthly shopping day and I have been on the road for 8 hours, plus unloading and chores, etc., etc. No need to bore all of you with that stuff. Anyway, hope everyone is feeling just a tad bit...

Wow! I did manage to sneak on here one more time today... Well, what did I tell you folks this morning?
NWS is never correct. According to my little weather station, we hit 100.4 *F today, at 58% RH, which is a heat index of 128.5 *F (so yeah, I did not work outside in the afternoon)...
