Why one keeps a reliable backup

You are of course right. It did get sorted out when I sobered up. Alcohol + forums don't always mix well.

Depends on the atomizer really. I prefer BE112's at 5V unless I can adjust the airflow, and I actually prefer the Janty TAWA's at six over five. I prefer DSE901's at five volts, and I prefer RN4075's at six. RN4081's are absolutely amazing at six volts. I keep hearing about this 4.5v or barely...

    How to spend a Saturday

Hey Jeff, sober pirate *did* get the top off. Don't worry about me sending it back. I can fix this. I'm thinking I'm going to go with a brass-look switch and just sand the caps to brass. Should look awesome shined up. You are relieved of any further responsibility. I also wanted to comment on...

Could The Chuck possibly be more of a ripoff of the Prodigy?

The chuck is as much a ripoff of the prodigy as the prodigy is a ripoff of the GG using that logic. Or simply put, I don't think it's a ripoff at all. Way too many differences. Soap bubbles become a shape because of their environment. Long cylindrical battery holders are going to look similar...

Why one keeps a reliable backup

I had to fix my Janty Stick a few times. Minor things. Popping the top to get some juice out of it, and taking a light wire brush to the atomizer connector. Honestly, I had a V1 stick and never had any significant issues with it. When 3.7v was no longer enough, I gave it to a co-worker to spread...

I wanna hear about the Super-T

This puzzled me too until I just up and put 25 901's in the cart. Suddenly the price dropped, and the shipping cost disappeared.

Why one keeps a reliable backup

Yeah. I'm sending it back to the designer. I'd have silently just fixed it but the cap that gives access to the switch is friggin on there. This isn't the first time I've had a mod fail and had to fix it, it's just the first time I couldn't actually fix it.

    How to spend a Saturday

I am ......ed and my leatherman substandard wrench-cap removal skills are nil. I will send it back. I really miss it. Still, if I had been able to remove the cap, I'd have replaced the switch on my own. No question. It was my fault it broke. I will pay for refinishing the cap as it was my...

    Grand prize custom Super-T1 pictures!!!!!

There's a word for what this prize offering is. It is: Steampunk And quite honestly, there's very little more in the way of coolness a mechanical device can accomplish once it has become as such.

    How to spend a Saturday

TO BE CLEAR I asked Jeff to cut it for CR2 only. You have NO WORRIES about this happening on a normal Chuck if you are using protected batteries. In retrospect, I was damn lucky.

    How to spend a Saturday

Just a heads up, in a drunken stupor I did drop my Chuck and break the switch in a way that I can not fix. It fell from about 5ish feet directly onto linoleum onto the switch. The switch stuck on, and I was able to get the cap off quickly, but the CR2's I was using for six volts had heated up so...

Why one keeps a reliable backup

So, I recently ordered a dedicated 901 dripping machine from a vendor. And it was beautiful. And I dropped it accidentally earlier directly onto its electronic switch. And while I was trying figure out what happened, a set of CR2's got so hot the green coating peeled back rendering them unsafe...

    Vegetable Glycerin vs HUMCO glycerin-warning!

Been using wiltons. I think it's made from roswell alien intestines. Either way, it cuts stuff just fine. I attribute the increased ability to come up with new neutron powered laser designs to jolt gum. Hope this helps.

    Just a thought...

Even if it was subcontracted or licensed the GG Grant should come back somehow. I see at least four people a week trying to get their hands on an original GG Grant because it was small and made specifically for the CR2's. The current trend it to make something larger inside to fit big 3.7V...

    The XHALER Sneak Peek

This works. *a very vocal majority prefer the 510 when using 3.7V, me included *Stealth vaping is more about the device being able to sit on your desk or ride in a holster or being in your hand without drawing suspicion than anything else. Other than making it part cellphone, an MP3 player is...

The 510 doesn't work in the Janty Stick without the "dura adapter". The atomizers that work in the Janty Stick without an adapter are: BE112 Joye302 Janty Kissbox Classic Janty TAWA M201 DSE801 SLB801 Sedansa RN4072 Just about anything labeled "Penstyle". I don't think I missed anything.
