Two more cottons for the evaluation: 100% cotton Graham Cellucotton (top) Organic combed Pima cotton (bottom) I'll post photos of each later.

A look at various wicking materials for rebuildable atomizers

If I had to use only one wick on a desert island, RIGHT NOW I'd take the Vapers Choice long staple cotton. It is simply amazing to work with, and when I'm done wicking an atty, I feel like I've built something of utility & value. But it has its shortcomings. Full disclosure: Right now, I think...

Scratch the bamboo I had coming. Turned out to bamboo viscose, which I wouldn't vape with a gun to my head. So sad. Cheap Chinese rayon. Uh,... no.

I'm just kicking myself that I didn't sign up for 3 or 4 while I had the chance. Won't make that mistake again.

Wanted one of these things since the very first time I set eyes on it. Finally got around to tracking one down and buying it: The atmizoo by atmizone. A special few pieces of vape gear are so perfectly suited to their intended tasks that they blow my engineer mind. Like this and the Velocity...

It's Friday: work was intellectually satisfying today, nobody twisted my nipples the wrong way, vape mail was good, and I'm not cooking tonight, but I'm gonna eat good. Oh, yeah, and a glass of Bulleit Bourbon on the rocks with some NET.com Excalibur. Not a bad way to end the week. 'Grats on...

I know I enjoyed the 80s. Went to graduate school. Partied. Video games at the arcade. Frisbee. Got a job at a national lab. Rode my sport bikes all over the southwest. Partied. Got married. I also smoked. Glad that piece ended.

Got mine today. Interesting little atty. Decent machining, center post is tight, deck is tiny, cool top/side airflow, post holes fit 22 ga (maybe 20, but I don't have any), single or dual airflow, clean. Thinking about what kind of build to stick in it.

Are you serious? If you think that the only thing that is gonna happen is that a few folks are gonna "change it up a bit", you just aren't paying attention. Get ready to have your world rocked...

That perfect pull on your favorite NET, where, with that last little "pop" from the atty, you know that you COULD take one more puff, but you squonk and make the next drag as perfect as the last? Priceless.

The air flow sold me on the potential. The juice fill could be better, but I could live with it. I just need something to squeeze or push or twist (twonk?) to control juice-flow.

Neither is mine. Seriously, no sense in both of us throwing away some fiber we can't vape on. As soon as I receive it, boil it (trust me), and vape it, I'll let you know where to buy it. But by then, someone will most likely have posted a source for a better wick. At least that's how I hope...

Off topic: Pretty interesting device: Aromamizer RDTA 6ml,AROMAMIZER RDTA,SC200,steamcrave OK: Yeah, it's a tank. But check out that build deck. It's cramped, but compared to anything other tank out there, it's pretty incredible. Filling it looks like a pain. And there's no user-controllable...

Not yet. :) Let's see how it turns out, shall we? Could turn out to be like vaping with Yorkie fur.

Pretty much ALL of this "high-end" stuff is repackaged commodity fibers. Time is money - not everyone is willing to search out the perfect wick. Anyway, when you buy it, you're supporting a vibrant small-business economy built around vaping. I know that doesn't fly with everyone, but it works...

Cotton Bacon Pages and pages of YouTube reviews on this stuff. Right out of the bag, it looks pretty impressive. White, decent fiber alignment, fluffs up nicely. Peeling apart a cut end shows how cleanly it separates into long strands. Not bad. Casually tearing it apart, the strands are...
