Very slightly off-topic:
Vapers Choice Cotton:
I'm no cotton aficionado (yet), but this is some awesome long-staple cotton. Wicks like a beast. And just because it's so badass, I think I'm gonna spend my weekend vape-bucks buying some Cotton Bacon and any other "magic" cotton I can find. And...
CAM Manta V2.2 first impressions:
Dual 26 gauge Kanthal 8 1/2 wraps on 2.5 mm. 0.5 ohm wide open with Vapers Choice cotton (more on this later). Pretty decent. Had to switch to a Delrin drip tip to temper the lip heat. Put the AFC pieces back on so I can push a primer huff through it without...
Mantas arrived today! I think I'll start like this:
The "spiral heat fins" seem a little small to be effective, but that's OK. The part count is nice and low. :thumb:
Can somebody recommend a good build for wide open air flow?
Personally, I condition the wick using unflavored 50:50 PG/VG and then paint them heavily with my juice. And I use Egyptian cotton.
In any case, this general approach gives me the most enjoyable hour or two of vaping of my entire day. Thanks Yosh. YMMV
Vape on.
That's kind of personal, don't you think? Kind of like asking how big... jk
Never thought to count them before. Looks like about 35, but that includes duplicates, which clearly don't count. Might be a couple still in the boxes, and several are all torn apart.
It's no big deal, I'm in a 12 step...
Doh! Well, that should have been obvious if I had half a brain. Which, obviously, I don't.
I'll try to run four old purple Efest bats through a discharge/charge refresh this weekend and see how loud this sucka gets.
Pretty bada$$:
Project Sub-Ohm Designed Mutation xS Mini RDA by Indulgence
Totally ridiculous. Completely unnecessary.
I think I'll order one. While I'm waiting for my Mantas to arrive.
In two evenings, I really haven't noticed the fan noise. Of course I've been trickle charging (500 mA) new batteries and recharging fairly recent batteries which weren't drained too low. And my vape cave isn't the quietest place on earth.
For me, this is an upgrade from an Efest LUC S2, so the bar isn't set real high...
The manual acknowledges that the internal resistance test is quite variable (20% or more), largely due to the low resistance of many batteries and the relatively high and rather variable mechanical contact...
From their Amazon listing:
BT-C3400 Universal battery charger for Li-ion NiMH NiCd rechargeable batteries. Check your batteries for actual capcity measurement.
Features four indepentant channels, like having four chargers in one. Programm each slot individually or all at once. Easy to setup and...
Give your reasons if you like, but otherwise just list 'em.

Vector: Drip-proof, machining quality, style, taste, build deck
Doge X2: Airflow, style, taste, Doge, it just makes me smile
I love NET.com. And I am pretty damn fond of Nicoticket. And I generally like Black Note and EtherVapes. And that's all I can speak about from personal experience at this point. And I couldn't care less who wins any categories. I am, however, thoroughly enjoying reading through people's votes...
Just finished my first-ever morning Wakonda vape with a tall glass of iced coffee. Damn fine way to start the day!
This noble Warrior should really post more videos:smokie:
