Diggin' through my vape stash, I found this:
3 mm ReadyXWick. The wick I want to love, but just can't seem to wrap my head around. Added to the to-do list.
Native Wicks
Shockingly white (not so obvious in this nighttime kitchen table photo) long staple cotton, very tightly compacted.
Tease it apart and the length and alignment of the fibers is readily apparent. Really strong - maybe even stronger than the Vapers Choice cotton from page 1 (which I...
No problemo - just don't want anyone thinking I've got an ulterior motive here. I'm not selling anything, just sharing my personal findings as they slowly trickle in.
I'm not trying to prove anybody right OR wrong. Sure, rayon is synthetic, in the sense that the cellulose is dissolved and then solidified into new filaments. But it's still just cellulose, as long as the solvents are cleaned away. The new cellulose has a different polymer chain length, a...
Obviously, a whole bunch of vapers have decided that rayon is their go-to wick. And apparently some of them feel very passionately about it. For me, the jury is still out.
Elfwick
Gnarly with a capital G. No two ways about it.
Right out of the package:
Tear a piece off and admire the knots and wads and fibers and little twigs.
Keep pickin’ at it, and it just separates into a bunch of clumps and strands, held together by some decent looking fibers.
It’s...
At least I can entertain myself reading the instruction sheet until the batteries arrive.:w00t:
"This welder is for welding wire to be not a toy. Baby and keep out of reach of children play with your avoid."
"Around 56V equipment up to a maximum of one life and safety of Been factory...
Oh, snap! My Welding Tab from The Friday Morning just arrived.
Time to go order a couple 14500 Li bats and draw up some crazy coil ideas.
Battery recommendation, anyone?
Well, I had to order a new micro scale so I can do the juice retention study the way I want to conduct it. While I wait for that, I'll post some photos of the more recent wicking materials I've received.
A "staple staggered fused Clapton", to be precise. And I bet it's gonna vape magnificently in my Zephyr Buddha V2 on my new dual parallel 26650 BCBoxMods Hammond box.:)
Actually, he makes them and sells them on eBay. At a fair price. So I see an enterprising young man filling a market niche.
But yeah, the ones who do it just to show off on Instagram? Kinda sad.
There was good music in the 80's, but you had to dig for it. This list of Billboard #1 singles will remind everyone just how bad mainstream music got as the cease went on. C'mon, you know I'm right.:nah:

Ah, yes. Music in the 80's:
Thanks for nothing, MTV.
Spent the first half listening to punk and new wave from the late 70's and very early 80's. Spent the second half listening to vintage Pink Floyd and a ton of old electronica. Kinda missed the music of the 80's.
Did the same tape fix to the Aromamizer RDTA per Robert Ellis' video - it totally changes it's character. V2 will be interesting to see. I still want a 28 or 30 mm version.
Hatrick: That thing is freakin' hilarious. Should be a good testing device. Can't find anything on an RBA deck.
Not...
Just found this post. o_O
Yeah, I have no idea why they put all 4 air holes in this thing. But with 2 of them closed, it's a pretty pleasing vape, especially with my work day unflavored. I instinctively exhale start it from my history with Kanger tanks.
I'd be glad to take it of your hands...
Haven't tried it yet - busy playing with other toys. The website says it's Pima cotton, with no mention of anything else. It sure is pretty. Hope to try it tomorrow.
Planning to start some juice retention experiments tomorrow. If life doesn't get in the way.
