Old dogs can learn new tricks, but the learning curve can be pretty damned steep, too! Kids today assimilate a whole language that I never learned: to me, a "window" was something to looked through to see what was outside, and that you washed now and then. Took me forever to grasp the concept of...
I'll gladly take that helping hand, and will have mine extended your way too, should you ever need it. It's just so good to be around other "lifers" who have found this second chance to stay well. You betcha we need to stick together! Thanks for helping me hang onto my 18 smoke free days!
:)...
Yes, I DO feel it, and it means a LOT.
It's not "natural", or easy, for me to ask for help: I'm such a stubborn ol loner. :) People here have been just super, and have made it much easier to do.
So I will hang close from here on...:)
I think I had an attack of what I call "addicts anxiety": (being afraid that e cigs might not keep working for me.)

Decided to try for harm reduction instead, via e...
Thanks for the kind responses, and yes, I intend to stick around and do what I can: I signed the petition and joined CASSA, so far. There are many like me who simply cannot beat cigarette addiction with the usual means available. Big Pharm makes lots of bucks not only off their nicotine...
This is my first smoke-free day in 52 years.
I am stunned.
After trying every way there is to quit and failing more times than I can remember, I had resigned myself to a future of increasingly severe COPD, and days ahead when I'd be dragging an O2 tank around with me, turning it off only...
OK. I know. It takes time to adapt. But Geeze Louise! If the batteries aren't going dead, the atty needs blowing out , or the prefilled cartridges are going dry! One of these %#@!* batteries only lasts an hour and a half! (of not very heavy vaping, either) (using the 510)
I NEED for this to...
