The 5 volt batteries are 4 mini minh in series. I use vodka to remove flavor but the coil is still pretty funked up. Every three months I buy 5 more. At least. 3 of the last batch still Vape, but they are at 2 + ohms and don't Vaperite at the wattage I like.

The problem I have is I keep getting to a point where what was once hot is no longer the heat that is right. 5 volts with a 1.5 dual coil atomizer was perfect, but I realized I enjoyed the batteries more fresh off the charger(5.9 volts most times) and less at the lower 5 volt range. So now, I...
About 5 atties, every couple of hours I rotate them. After two months 3 out of five are still very capable, I just prefer newer. I usually throw in a to be cleaned pile, clean them and use when I run out of fresh atties. I am particular. I still have several usable attirs from my last 2 batches...
Izzy check this site out, it looks like a wealth of information regarding batteries and charging. Click on technical resources, they mask the link in the url.
I have had better luck with the DC atties. The first and last batch have lasted a little while for me and are awesome. The ones I got in December seem to have had some issues and did not last that long and one never developed taste. But they are still the best atties!!! I love them.
Wow, I am lucky if I get 2-3 months out of my atties. But then again I am pretty rough and vape pretty heavy. Also I vape allot of tobaccos which rumor says kills atties faster.
The trick with charging is that most of the lipo/lion boards only charge single cells. So I wonder if you put 2 or more lions in parallel for charging they should charge both as one. I know this would have to be done with fresh battteries so they are not initially unbalanced, but I believe...
Looks like it will need a new cap as the leads broke from the board. I was hesitant on pulling the trigger on a 10 dollar soldering iron after the last one failed so misserably, but this one works amazingly well, very happy with it so far. Using it is like night and day compared to the other...
My passthrough/battery system I am building is going to use a 2596 buck board, everything built on. I ordered 5, but one came in with a broken cap. If you think you can fix it, I can send it to ya!
It was nothing, an hour or so. I bought one of these kits just to get a hang for soldering the small pieces and getting a simple idea of how things go together. I was working on fixing my 5volt nimh battery charger(which looks like it has bigger issues than I thought), and I was going to wait...
Have you thought about using a 2.1 barrel jack with three prong connector. These usualy have an extra connection for a wire from the positive battery so both battery and 2.1 jack have the same output point. When the output jack is open ut uses external. When closed uses battery. Just a thought...
