My cardiologist asked me, "You've never smoked, right?"

I think you're right. Initially, I had great trouble making the switch to vaping, and was also a dual user for 21 months (beginning in 2009). My body had to adapt to PG, because 100% VG was way too much and made my lungs feel 'heavy' after a month or two. But overtime, I adapted. These days I...

8 months now finally 6 days free

Hey Charley, Starting in 2009, I struggled for almost TWO YEARS before I found the right equipment, flavors and nic level to comfortably make the switch. Although I have two e-rolls now, e-roll wouldn't have been powerful enough to do what I needed at the time. (if I have misunderstood what...

My cardiologist asked me, "You've never smoked, right?"

Thank You! Yep...I'm getting about 6 hours a night now, and trying to make myself get 8. It does make a difference in how I feel. I always hated 'sleeping'...seems like such a waste of time when there's so many threads I want to read on ECF.

Help! I need to know how to get less vapor from a Protank2 mini! Really!

In addition to PG, a higher ohm coil will also reduce the cloud...usually.

My cardiologist asked me, "You've never smoked, right?"

Come to think of it, back in my smokin' days, I also had a few 'breath taking' pains to the left of my breastbone, but none since vaping entered the scene. Plus, I can BREATHE again! Yay for US! :)

My cardiologist asked me, "You've never smoked, right?"

That's probably a good idea. Thanks! (Now I just have to figure out how to DO that. I think I'm a member, but need to check my old email to be sure.)

My cardiologist asked me, "You've never smoked, right?"

This past April, I cut the nic from 6mg to 0mg, just to see if I could do it. Surprise, surprise...it was no problem at all. I couldn't tell a difference...except that I felt a bit more tired than normal. The tiredness soon passed, but business and personal stress over the following month...

    TWO Years Smoke FREE !!!!!!!!!!

Ditto above comments. :) I'll be celebrating my 3rd year in September, and there's no doubt that if I'm living at that time, I will still be 'smoke free'. Although it was a struggle for ME during the first 2 years (2009 - 2011, due to poor equipment in those days), GOOD hardware and only a...

How Long Did It Take You To Totally Quit "Those"?

Whew! I just read all 15 pages HOPING I would find SOMEBODY who took as long as ME to make the switch. My first kit was received December 19, 2009 (Joy 510 cig-a-like). From the very first vape I thought to myself, "I can DO this!" :) Yet, like DaveP wrote, IF we had better equipment in...

    Trying to cut the nic

Currently I'm vaping '0' nic most of the time, but occasionally feel the need to go a wee bit higher. Starting last month, my standby vape dropped from 6mg to 3 mg, and '3' does fine for me when I need it. Otherwise, I'm satisfied with PG, VG and flavoring. (I started out at 24mg, and never...

Been at zero-nic for 1.5 months.. Thinking of re-introducing some 3mg

I've been doing mostly zero-nic since April, but there are times I need a little nic kick to lift a stubborn cloud of depression. 4mg will do the job when I need it. Haven't tried lower yet, but 4mg every now and then ain't bad at all...IMHO. :) I do not agree with the idea to "quit...

Anyone planning to stop vaping eventually?

As a former smoker of 32+ years, I'm amazed that my body has 'requested' me to lower my nic level several times. Most recently, this past April I was mixing my home brew e-liquids and had a wild hair to try NO NIC for a change. I had been @6mg for over a year, so at the request of my body, I...

    Got the Banner!

My banner has changed from time to time, but the info it gives me still AMAZES ME! I never believed I could quit smoking...but I did it! Thanks to ECF and my P.E.N.I.S. (Personal Electronic Nicotine Inhalation System) So grateful!!! :)

    Its My Vapiversary !

Congratulations Rico! The 1st of MANY celebrations to come! :) (I was a 'dual user' until I found 'the right' setup to suit my needs...ego batts and clearos. It took me almost two years to make the switch 100%, but I did it. Haven't had a smoke since 9/25/2011, thanks to the same equipment...

Will i ever get off nicotine?

Yep, I'm with the folks who suggest to allow nic to lower naturally. I started at 24mg, and before long my body was requesting a lower amount. So, I went to 18mg...then a few months later to 12mg. It took about a year and 4 months, but my body settled out at 6mg or lower. (Sometimes I now vape...

Welcome to everyone who needs it! ;) Congrats on getting into vaping. It CAN change your life a whole LOT...and that's for the better! :D Plus, the folks on ECF have played a huge role for me, and I expect it will be the same for you. Hope so. :)
