Welcome to all the newbies! :) Only 5 posts needed? When did they reduce from the 15 I had to post???

nicotine actually seems bad for me, WTA seems like the only thing that could work

If it had not been for WTA, I don't know that I would have successfully made the switch to vaping. 'Something' was missing from my e-liquid that made me very uncomfortable, and only the analogs would satisfy.....until I tried WTA. I vaped WTA e-liquid exclusively for about 6 months, then...

    Cant vape in the house.....aruggggggggggggggg

I'm a bit surprised that every response above basically says something like 'stand your ground'. I never smoked in the house, and I was perfectly willing to vape outside, and DID for many months...until my partner asked me "Why are you still going outside? Wouldn't you like to vape inside?"...

Impressed a few people last night and got some positive comments...

'Tanks' for posting that fun read! :D I've had a few folks take a hit from my gear, but nobody has picked up vaping as a result...yet! ;) (Could be that I haven't been getting out enough lately.) That nautilus tank looks enticing......but I must pace myself in buying 'everything' I...

Any other full-time vapers gain weight after quitting cigs?

I gained about 20 lbs, and have only recently lost most of it. My partner was in the hospital 10 weeks - 3 weeks in a coma. Stress is NOT the way to lose weight. BUT during that time I DID NOT SMOKE and DID NOT HAVE CRAVINGS! Plus, I never felt 'the need' to go somewhere and vape. I wanted...

    Those of us with beards

YES! and "OUCH!!!" I hate when that happens. The DT on my ProTank II yanks a hair about every 3rd drag. Makes me cuss sometimes. Fortunately, the DT hasn't caught any nose hairs yet.

    One is just not enough......

I always have at least 3 devices near me when I leave the house. Today, I'm carrying my MVP2 with a Protank II, Lavatube V2 with Protank II and Ego batt (900 mah) with an EVOD. That should hold me til I get home around 2:00pm. ;) I always carried an extra pack of cigs when I smoked (usually a...

    Long-term Vapers

I started with a cig-a-like December 18, 2009, but was unable to make the switch completely until September 25, 2011, thanks to upgraded equipment and higher nic. It's been 2 years and 3 months since my last analog, and I can def say "I'M DONE WITH SMOKING!" :) Hang in there. When it all...

    One Year Analog Free!!

I love these stories! :) It took me awhile to make the switch 100% (almost 2 years), but once I did it...I was DONE with analogs! Congratz on ONE YEAR! (There's MORE ahead, coming to a fresh breath near YOU!) ;)

How much have you spent on devices to date ?

The biggest expenses are up front; finding your gear, flavors and the 'right level of nic' to do the job! Just so y'all know, I was IN THE HOLE for about 9 months, until I found 'my setup' that worked for ME. After that, the savings have been sweet! :) (See my sig for expenses vs savings.)...

    The Flavor Apprentice flavorings

I'm usually around 15% with flavors from 'TFA', as compared to the 25% to 40% with 'Flavor West'.

How much have you spent on devices to date ?

My real expenses (including 'ecig gifts' to friends and family) are in my sig. Although it looks like a lot, it's a LOT LESS than if I had continued smoking: A LOT less! ;) (Plus, I'm healthier, too. :) AND I smell good! :D)

Question for smokers who have switched.

Nope...I prefer my vape. If I smoke anything, it will NOT be tobacco...already did that for 32 years: I'm done with it! :) Interesting question, and I'm enjoying the responses. ("Flight" was good...saw it last week.)

How is Vaping saving me money?

I began vaping to QUIT smoking. It took me almost 2 years to completely make the switch, but thanks to better hardware and raising the nic from 18mg to 24mg (and a few months of WTA eliquid), I DID IT! Although my goal was to give up analogs, I've also kept a running record of ALL my vape...

    1 year cigarette free!

WAY TO GO!!! :D Ain't it AMAZIN'?!?!?!? I've been at 6mg for over a year now (successfully started at 24mg), and through unfortunate circumstances, my roommate ended up in ICU 7 weeks ago. I've been with him in the hospital most days and nights ever since, and have surprisingly gone for...

Family support switching to e cigarettes

Hiya SA, I smoked for 32+ years. YOU smoked for 35(+?) years. To the person who has never smoked, vaping LOOKS the same. But to you and me (and 99.9999999% of ECF vapers), we know as well as any professional that VAPING is NOT the same as SMOKING! I started vaping for ME, and you started...
