Advice on rebuilding Vivi Nova coils.

Hey Mattman, You're ahead of me. I love my Vivi Novas, and have about 40 heads I'll need to rebuild before the end of the year. I've got my gear, but haven't done a thing with it yet. I'll be interested in the responses you get, so I'm subscribing to this thread. I'm sure somebody will come...

    ECF Co-op?

Yep...get enough posts and follow the instructions above. I've purchased most of my hardware through ECF Coops. So far, I've had nothing but great buys, excellent experiences with coop hosts...and a LOT of FUN just hangin' out with other folks buying the same stuff. :)

    Happily Off The Analogs

The Short story in two words: CrappyHardwareLowNicAnd BadFlavors! ;) The Long story: I bought a Joye 510 cig-a-like on December 18, 2009, along with some 18mg 'puke juice' that really made me gag occasionally. I had troubles with sore lungs and mouth using pure PG (that was about all I could...

    Happily Off The Analogs

BOTH of ya are way ahead of where I was. It took ME a year and nine months before I was able to make the switch completely...but I MADE IT...and you will too! It DOES get better! :)

Do you ever crave this bad?

I remember thinking the same thing about the first 7 days of vaping. Then it was the first month - 3 months - 6 months - 9 months. I made it to a year...WOW! It was only a few months ago that I realized "I don't NEED to vape at all!" I NEVER thought I'd get to THAT point...but there it...

    WTA is the future

Call your credit card company and authorize a 'chargeback' for your unfulfilled order. The money will usually reappear in your account within about 48 hours. As an 'online vendor' I have a merchant account, and although I wouldn't want a chargeback against my account, that's exactly what I...

About to give up, all I want is a Marlboro

I think one of the hardest parts of making 'the switch' was finding FLAVORS that tasted better than puke! None of the tobacco flavors I tried EVER came close to what I wanted...until I got far enough away from analogs to trick my mind into preferring whatever I could find. I'm still 'picky'...

    One Year

CONGRATS, OCELOT! :D I've always enjoyed your posts, but this one touched my heart in a very NICE way. Thanks! Krysia was an outstanding talent, and she must have had an outstanding spirit, too. I had not heard her before, but I'll hear her again, for sure. :)

    Buying direct from Flavorwest

I suspect you're right, randomhousegir. I have noticed that FW flavors taste significantly better after steeping two or three weeks. As for VG needing a longer steeping period, I had not though of that before, but it seems logical that thicker VG would take a bit longer for flavors to balance...

    Buying direct from Flavorwest

Usually I vape 6mg nic, in a 50/50 PG/VG mix. HOWEVER, with FW, because I use more flavoring (which dilutes my eliquid), I tend to go heavier on VG...such as 30/70 PG/VG. Next time I pull my stuff out, I might try ALL VG, just to see how everything behaves. :)

    Buying direct from Flavorwest

As I understand it, FDA requires *food products* to expire within TWO years (including bottled water). As one who does a LOT of cooking, I pay no attention to expiration dates for items such as flavoring, syrup, water, rice, noodles, etc. If I've kept everything sealed well, it should still be...

2 months in and hoping to go exclusively to vaping

I started vaping December 18, 2009, using a Joye 510 cig-a-like. Never was able to make the switch, and continued smoking along with vaping......until September 25, 2011; almost TWO years! The day I upgraded my hardware to a better device (ego batts and CE2s) and raised the nic from 1.8% to...

What's your home work and beach setup

home, work or beach setup: There's a difference? Whatever is welded to my hand at the time is the PV I'll use. :) (I carry everything, everywhere, all the time.)

New to the Vape and confused

So funny. :) I remember my first draw. I thought, "WHOA! THAT looks like 'smoke'. WOW! That felt like a ciggie." After an hour, I was like, "OH MY GOD! YES!" :D It took me awhile to find the right setup and eliquid to make the switch complete, but once I found it, I was done with...

New to vaping and I went with blu

It was ego batteries and clearomizers that worked for me (after almost 2 years trying to switch using a cig-a-like similar to Blu). Although I have other mods that I love, I still enjoy the simplicity of the Ego with a clearomizer (or EVOD). The 'Twist' is the way to go. Might also consider a...

    evic -> provari

I bought my silver Evic in December, and received it just after New Year's Day. It has been GREAT for me, completely trouble free, and is my favorite PV. I also love all the 'bloat ware'. :D After about 4 months of using Evic almost exclusively, I decided I needed something a bit different...so...

Need Advice, Girlfriend and my vaping!!

I suspect most of us offering 'relationship advice', are either sharing based on our own successes, or the hind-sight of what we should have done (and would do next time). I'm also very confident that in spite of our 'tongue in cheek comments', EACH of us really, Really, REALLY wants the very...

    WTA is the future

I was just about to type that very sentence! THANK YOU for saving the wear and tear on my fingies. :D TOTALLY AGREE!!! Once I got the WTA, I was DONE with analogs for good! And what's even MORE kool...after awhile, I didn't even NEED WTA to remain analog free. THAT was AMAZING to me!!! Come...

Need Advice, Girlfriend and my vaping!!

Switching from analogs to vaping is a process; so is nagging. One is productive...the other is not. 'Self control' comes in many colors. As for the expense, I suggest to keep a record of what you would have spent on analogs vs what you have spent on vaping. In the beginning, the start up...
