Adapter Review: 510 to 801 STEALTH adapter at VaporFlow

Excellent post, Nebula, I'm getting a Darwin here soon and am eager to try out non-510/306 atties for the first time ever... I found both your posts incredibly useful. Unfortunately, Vaporflow only has the 510->901 adapter, and it's sold out... I don't think they carry the 510-801 any longer...

    how much nic?

Also, it's very difficult to predict how much nicotine you'll need vaping just by looking at what you smoked... some people that smoked half a pack of lights can vape 24-36mg all day long, while some people that smoked two packs of newports daily do well with 12mg or so. It can just be off...

Great Problem to have but I need HELP!!!!

I'd really look at the Darwin as well... variable wattage is a step ahead of variable voltage. You can't go wrong with a ProVari either, though, both are wonderful mods.

How does VapeMate perform with 100% VG?

Looking to pick up a VapeMate and was wondering if anyone who had one uses it with all VG, and how it does with it. I only use VG and don't cut it with distilled water or PGA (apparently, Everclear cannot be sold in Ohio... shame.)

    E-cig vaper on prime time

During clip and the one on letterman (or was it leno?) I keep thinking that they really need to use an LR atty or something... pretty weak vapor. :P But I'm SO pleased that millions of people will get to see that! That's even better than a commercial for an e-cig... I wonder how many people are...

I just ordered $19.10 of e-liquid (bringing the total that I've spent on e-cigs to....

It really can be expensive... until you find out what you like. After a while, it's much, much cheaper. I just bought a years' supply of unflavored nic juice for 70 bucks. I have many months worth of atties I got for about 60 bucks, and flavoring for DIY was cheap. I'm about to pick up a...

    If price were no object....

Darwin. Variable wattage FTW. SO glad they changed to a black color rather than that ugly green they had on pre-production models. Reminded me of the ....... child of a breathalyzer coupled with ugly ruggedized containers from my army days. Blech. Toss in a boatload of atties, flavoring from...

Anyone sell 0 nic 100% VG?

All you need is food grade USP VG, you can buy that locally at pharmacies. I got a 6oz bottle (177ml) for a couple bucks locally.

If you switched from analogs to vaping...

Smoked about a pack a day for ~10 years. My switch was fairly smooth, immediately stopped smoking... I've had an occasional cig since, probably about 10 total in the year or so I've been vaping. My girlfriend still smokes, and that was the most difficult hurdle.

    Noob gone wild

Vaping is wonderful, glad you made the switch! I'd start with the eGo as well... it might take a week or so to fully get adjusted to vaping rather than smoking, but once you get fully into the swing of things you'll love it even more.

Getting rid of the acidic taste... e cigartettes taste terrible

There is a product you could try called Vape Wizard. It's used by some people when they mix their own liquids to tone down the sour taste, here's the description: "MTS vape wizard contributes toward softening any acidic/sour perception, it assists in making vapour thicker, and it delivers both...

Forty 510 Atties for $63.94 shipped

UPDATE: Used the 510 for a while longer... was still pleased with it. Unfortunately, I only have a Riva on hand, and I'm used to LR atties (510 and cisco 306) so truly my situation is not ideal to really put these atties through their paces. I'm getting a Darwin here as soon as they next batch...
