Yep, still have my original m401 batts. I originally bought four in nov or dec 2009. I gave two away and I still have one that works. I later bought two more sometime in 2012. I still use them with atomizers and carts while doing housework. Great hands free devices. They don't get heavy use...
AttyPops is talking about a different type of atomizer. I think you are working with something like this...
Which you do not need filler material to wick and they aren't useable for dripping.
AttyPops is talking about something like this....
Which used to require a plastic cart to fit over...
Some people find vaping an instant transition some people have to take more time. Even if you slowly step down how many cigarettes you have in a day you are still winning.
A favorite saying around here is "count the ones you don't smoke not the ones you do."
I know when I was looking for my first mod it was hard to justify the expense of a Provari. What it came down to for me was the thought "Do I want to have to replace it in 6 or 9 months?" The warranty and ability to get it repaired after the warranty were huge deciding factors for me. The...
I don't know anything about the V-core. Hopefully, someone more knowledgable will come along. Until then Welcome to ECF! Sounds like you're off to a good start.
Wow, Stanton is dangerous. I can't even believe the amount of ignorance and disdain for not only people who vape but those who are still struggling with cigarettes. This is what we are fighting against folks.
Edit: Reading more about this guy I can see that he is willfully lying.
If you participated in the Stop-tabac questionnaire by Prof Etter make sure to read the results and respond to the invitation to participate in the follow up. Mine went to my junk folder in my email so I just wanted to let interested people know to check their email.
Here is the link for the...
Rant on
My order from Fast Tech has been sitting in San Fransisco for three days. Uggggh, move already. It took one day to get from Hong Kong to San Fransisco. I have had one package from Florida that bounced around the US which was actually sort of fun to watch the updates. That little box...
Drip tip is part of the top cap.
UD IGO F from celticvapes co uk - YouTube
The way he sets it up it looks like a great bottom dripper? I gotta try one of these. Co-op here I come.
The pre-oxidized wicks are very easy to work with. That is what I use on mine. I haven't tried silica on a genesis style RBA but the little dripper rebuildable atomizers are super easy to set up with silica.
My favorite is the IGO-L.
Welcome to ECF! I have always struggled with my weight and when I decided to switch to ecigs I was dreading the usual weight gain that comes from stopping smoking. I am so impressed that didn't happen and in fact have lost weight by vaping sweet flavors at night rather than snacking.
The...
Yeah, I have gotten my ProVari mini to fire a 1.5 coil at low volts but haven't built anything lower. I actually prefer higher ohms around 2 to 2.5. I get more play with the voltage and like a cooler vape.
I don't know about the SVD. The ProVari will not work with a coil resistance that low.
i doubt the SVD would work. Most use a mechanical mod for coils that low.
If you can vape vg. You could go to walmart and get a bottle of Humco Vg to dilute it. It would dilute nic content too but also dull the flavor. That could tide you over for a little while.
I don't know much about this mod other than reviews I have seen. Search for silver bullet mechanical mod on YouTube. Grimmgreen, Dimitri, and Mike Olmsted have reviews that might be helpful.
There is also a silver bullet subforum under APV discussion - APV model specific discussion which might...
The menu system on the Provari is very simple. One button does it all. You should be fine. If its intimidating at first one rule I go by with variable voltage is to start with low voltage and work my way up until it tastes the way I want it to. I would initially start off with the Protank...
You got a great setup going with the ProVari. Being a light smoker the 18350 batteries should last you through the day. Carto tanks can be a little tricky to setup at first but take your time and ask questions here. I think you will be very happy with your purchase.
Welcome to ECF and vaping!
I haven't tried Cinful Apple yet, but you are spot on about Apple Cinnana. It is definitely a playful flavor. The fruit flavors stand out and are perfectly melded together with the cinnamon which is more of a bakery cinnamon to me than a candy cinnamon. Vaping this I got apple on the inhale...
