    The flavorings in the pg/vg base might be alcohol based. What brand of liquid are you using? What brand did your friend have?

    The liquids may need to steep if the flavoring is alcohol based. I had a tropical punch that was almost painful to vape but a few days with the cap off and shaking twice a day fixed it. If that doesn't work look at getting liquid with a higher vg content. Usually makes for a smoother throat hit.

    I have no idea why that would happen. If my juice randomly turned green I don't think I would vape it. Do you have pics of the juice and your set up? You mentioned that you used a cotton ball wick. Did you do any prep to the cotton before making the wick like boiling? .....weird

    I mix Fuzion Vacation 24 mg with a DIY 12 mg Coconut usually mix it 50/50.

    Fuzion makes great e liquid. I have tried six liquids from them so far and all were great without steeping. No discernable alcohol taste or smell.

    Like Bad said the e liquid is the variable that gunks up the system. It is possible to extend the life of your attys by regular cleaning. However, they still have a finite lifespan.

    I accept that the coil in my atomizer is temporary. But also didn't like the whole idea of throwing away the entire thing when the coil got bad. So I switched to rebuildable atomizers. More tinkering but problem solved.
