De-wicking atomizers, would it make sense for RES use?

Yes I suppose in a way it is a bottom feeder. But the difference is instead of having a tank where juice just sloshes around, it is contained in the ceramic. The alpha is more like a bottom feeder and super cartridge combined, but the best of both worlds. So yes you are correct, there is no need...

    Ultrapure

Well first of all congratulations on quitting smoking. I know how hard it is to quit, I was a pack and a half a day guy. We tried to make the ULTRApure come as close to a real cigarette as possible, and I think that's why it works so well for people. Out of all those different flavors out there...

De-wicking atomizers, would it make sense for RES use?

I dont know of a video, but I can explain how to do it, its very simple. The 306 is the easiest because its an exposed atomizer. All you need is a pair of fine point tweezers. If you look under the bridge you will see the wick (a bunch of clear looking strands). Grab them with the tweezers and...

Alpha Ultramax - RES performance at 6v

It will. It seems like it takes it a few weeks to fully break in. After that it slides smooth as butter. Just have to keep using it. Great to hear you are loving it though. For the people that figure it out and stick with it find that it is by far their favorite mod they own. Keep us updated on...

De-wicking atomizers, would it make sense for RES use?

I think it definitely helps. I never knew what de-wicking was until not too long ago. Now that I know I always de-wick any atomizer before I use it. I notice the RES has a much better draw if you de-wick. Just seems like the liquid can travel from the RES to the atomizer much faster if the wick...

Alpha Ultramax - RES performance at 6v

Yes that is a very good technique to help the RES keep up at 6v. Everyone has their own learning curve, and once you get yours down you will be in love.

    Storing position?

You can store it however you want. There should be no leaking whatesoever (unless you seriously overfill it). Congrats on your purchase. I'm sure you will find you will love it.

    306 adapter sleeve?

It just comes down to personal preference. I like LR 306 better than LR 510 because it seems like I get better TH and vapor out of them. That's just my opinion though. I'm sure their are people out there that prefer 510 over 306.

    UltraLite 10440 batteries

Yeah so I think your safest bet would be to stick to the WF-188.

    UltraLite 10440 batteries

After reading the info that you sent me, I would probably stay away from using the PILA charger for the 10440. The 10440s don't have a very great battery life to start off with, and the only way you would be able to know if they were half dead is to constantly check them with a voltage meter. It...

    UltraLite 10440 batteries

I'm not sure about that. I don't know exactly what a PILA charger is. I will look it up and find out if you can charge the 10440 in the PILA charger for you though.

is this what your ultramax res looks like?

No problem, glad you got it quick and its working like it should now.

    UltraLite 10440 batteries

I just wait for them to go completely dead, and then charge them on the WF-188 charger on the 3.7v setting at 300 mah. I haven't had any problems with them at all that way.

It's all a matter of opinion, but in mine I think you'll like it.

Alpha Ultramax - RES performance at 6v

The thing about the RES at 6v is you just have to let it keep up. If you are going to use ULTRApure, you will most likely need to give it about 30 seconds between every 2 or 3 drags just to give the RES time to keep up with your vaping. That's because ULTRApure is one of the thickest liquids out...

best way to refill the res

Yes but unfortunaly it needs to be connected to better protect the ceramic wick inside.

Alpha Ultramax - RES performance at 6v

Vaping at 6v can be very different depending on what kind of liquid you use. I personally prefer 3.7v with our ULTRApure, because it just burns extremely fast at 6v. Loft here on the forum suggested that I give 6v a try again however, and when I mix our regular full with some RY4, it is...
