Yes you can clean them with alcohol, won't hurt it at all. I would suggest going to the liquor store and finding your self the driest, cheapest, highest proof vodka you can find. That way if you don't rinse all of it quite out, you will at least be inhaling a consumable alcohol, rather than... -

Get a pair of tweezers and pull the top of the spring off around the top of the battery contact. Then just roll it around the battery contact pin until it comes off. Then just reverse those steps to get it back on another switch. I hope that makes sense. -

Apex Vapor has not been making the standard springs for a while. We just had a bunch of them left over and continued to sell them, but we are out of them now also. So all devices will come with the light spring from now on. To be honest the difference between the two was very minimal. -

No there aren't really any restrictions as far as cleaning it out. The only thing is that there is no hole on the bottom for the alcohol to run out. So the easiest way to clean an AVA is to pour your alcohol in the top, cover it with your finger and shake it a few times, then turn it over and...
