    Battery University: Charging LiIon Batteries Also, the storage charge, which I assume is also in place for shipping, is about 40%, so yes, you can vape right away. Then charge until the charger light goes green. That's it for the basics.

    I'm actually out of Shade, and I ordered 30mg Mellow Sunset 100%VG by mistake. So I'm using the MS as a base for DIY now. I don't think 30mg is a good idea for sampling. I suppose I could bring some FA flavoring. I have Perique and Latakia, and some others.
