    IPV3 Charger?

And is that voltage under load? Not saying that unit is just fine, just noting that there are wall-warts that will indeed put out higher than rated voltage, just checking them with a meter. I have some of those around somplace -- actually didn't believe it myself when somebody told me that...

    I'm just a poor boy ... I get no sympathy ...

    IPV3 Charger?

If the latter, would that be in conjunction with trying to debug / make the existing charging circuit work? That PCB looks awfully sparse, so I wonder if it also uses some circuitry on the sx330 PCB. That DNA charging module (is that the one?) seems a bit on the small side, but then that's my...

    IPV3 Charger?

Oh, I'm just going with a very low level of expectations, based on what's being reported here. :)

    IPV3 Charger?

I know nothing about the chip, so this is just speculation, but I'd be shocked, SHOCKED!, if it were that easy. My suspicion is that if it's user ugradable at all, it'd be via JTAG or ICSP. (Or some other method that most vapers won't have laying around the house.)

    IPV3 Charger?

But then why include the circuit board and the jack at all? I agree with WeirdWillie. Rush job. And for what? To chase some gawdawful pointless wattage level? The mind boggles.

    IPV3 Charger?

Oh, I had looked at that. Somehow, didn't connect it up in my head. I'll just toss this out, in case anyone is interested: Battery University -- great resource.

    IPV3 Charger?

This I didn't know. Just talking general principles here. Yeah, the RC folks use balance chargers for multiple cells. I would be, frankly, afraid to try to charge in the unit with this configuration. Yeah, I have no trust. I hope that what happens is not a lithium fire. (He did write...

    IPV3 Charger?

Well, if that's what the vendor told you, and you did tip positive (looks like that's what the diagram shows), then I'd conclude the charging circuit is not working. One thing you can try is to open up the unit, and check the voltage across one of the batteries, while your power supply is...

    IPV3 Charger?

Very doubtful it's a current regulated supply. The "Constant current output" spec is likely just specifying the output current limit of the device, in constant usage. Lots of electronic devices, MOSFETs for example, will tolerate much higher current spikes momentarily than they can pass on a...

    IPV3 Charger?

Just because the AC/DC adapter is rated at 1500mA, doesn't mean that that's what the charging circuit is drawing. Have you put an ammeter in series to see what the actual current draw is? The fact that the charging circuit can run with 6-9VDC as input is unsurprising, because while the charging...

    Introducing Pioneer4u IPV v1 35 Watt - BLACK & GRAY

Kinda of odd, but fortunately, I don't care. :) Knowing almost nothing about the chipsets, I assume they're using the same case to save money (or something), and the 330 doesn't support that function. Or, some enterprising person will take one apart, and post instruction for how to hook it up.

    Introducing Pioneer4u IPV v1 35 Watt - BLACK & GRAY

Okay, before I pull the trigger on ordering one of these, a little battery info? So, I know, 20A battery recommended. Well, I'm not going to run it at 20W. For example, 4.5V, 1.5 ohms, 13.5W, 3A, plus what it takes to run the circuit. My Panasonic CGRs can handle that just fine. Things, it the...

Where can I get a PV with an sx350 chip

Pioneer4u IPV v2 50 Watt. Check with GotVapes on their subforum here to be sure -- they list the 30W version as using the SX330, I assume this uses the SX350.

Kayfun Lite Flooding - Russian 91%

Glad I could help. One thing I will mention is that if they don't have it, there's at least one guy there (tall, thin, older) who seems to know where to find it elsewhere. Example: they don't have o-rings of a size that works for the Kayfun tank. He referred me to a couple other local places --...
