Thanks for the info there, really useful! Another quick question which I have asked of a few trusted vape friends of mine but I always seem to get an ambiguous answer. "When should I swap my battery out?" Answer: "You will just know..." I don't want to be taking my battery out to check the volts...

I had looked into kicks, but as you say I couldn't really find anything that would protect as low as I'm looking to build. That being said, quality batteries, solid builds, ohm checking, proper maintenance and constant vigilance with regards to battery safety and I'm confident I can use mechs...

That's awesome, without delving into the "politics" of clones, do you think that the quality of genuine can be replicated by clones (in a very generalised way)?

Wow, I'm surprised it's that cheap, even if it is a clone... I've bought a Council of Vapor Kindred v1.5 as my first mech, it was about the most I could stretch for the short term and I'm treating it very much as a way of learning the parts etc of these types of mods. I'm going to wait another...

Is there any particular solution you would use to clean the device? Or any particular ones to avoid like the plague?

I'm leaning much more towards tube style mechs if I'm honest, I'm very cautious with batteries and will happily shell out the extra bucks for genuine :) mainly because I like my teeth in my mouth and my face on the front of my head :)

Thanks, yeah to be honest if I like my experience with them I think I will head down that route. I like the idea of total user serviceability and a properly maintained mech should last a good while as well. I always use an ohm checker, before and after pulsing / pinching. I will probably keep a...

    Just another mech thread

Hello my fellow vapers! So first things first, I am quite a seasoned vape enthusiast. I have been vaping for nearly 2 years and building what I consider to be relatively advanced coils for quite some time now, I also consider myself experienced with ohms law. I use only good quality, genuine...

Thanks, shame I've got to spend extra money to fix my problem but not the end of the world. Cheers!

Really? So the air flow is always gonna be this tight? That kinda sucks :/

    Griffin RTA

Hi all! So I got my new tank in the mail yesterday and just threw a couple of Clapton's on it. The vape is really nice and intense, really good flavour and thick fluffy clouds. I'm just wondering why the airflow feels so restricted, I don't know whether it's because I'm more used to RDA's or...

    Tsunami RDA

I'm with @suprtrkr - I've had a go on a genuine Tsunami and the thing throws clouds! But clones can be hit and miss, some are better than the originals in my opinion! Wait and see - it's half the fun ;)

    Rude vape shop employees

I'm lucky, my local B&M is a really decent place, friendly, knowledgeable staff who will more often than not price match whatever I find online :) I use them, because not only is it convenient, but I support what they stand for. They take more time with the newer customers, recommend decent...

The crackle; sounds of the vape?

Hey there! I had my crown in rotation with a few other tanks for a while, I cant say I really noticed any crackling but the damn juice coming through the airflow drove me insane! I think it's an issue with the top fill because as soon as I started bottom filling the leaking stopped. Keeping the...

    Issues with MyVaporStore

Not MVS related but I had a vape package show on tracked Royal Mail as delivered on a Thursday. Didn't arrive until the following Tuesday, I was really aggro for a good few days I can tell you!
