Outrageous Distortions, Cont. Fox News calls E-cigs a "Gateway Drug"

This, but I would say whoever paid for the study got exactly what they wanted, something that could be slightly twisted and used for more "scientifically backed" propaganda against e-cigarettes in the press.:vapor:

Great NY times article exposes what BT is REALLY trying to do.

Just more semantics to make e-cigarettes look bad by using the truth, all my e-liquids contain USP grade pure nicotine. Mine all have .8% pure nicotine in them. They're telling the truth, just not all of it.

Tobacco Companies' Strong Warnings on E-Cigs Raise Eyebrows

Replace BT with BG and the sentence is still true, 60% of cigarette sales are taxes.:vapor:

FDA New CDC survey confirms that e-cig use by nonsmokers has been virtually nonexistant, but misrepresents survey findings to news media

Because it shows the disingenuous use of one government agencies survey statistics to further another's agenda? :2c::vapor:

    CVS site search for ecigarettes

This was my read also, they destroyed any good in the first section with the second one and its references. Most were ones used for the basis of e-cigarettes are bad articles. eta: I mean reference to the debunked 2009 diethylene glycol FDA study?

FDA new york state, vaping indoors can be punishable by criminal misconduct?

No one thinks your lying, Walmart posted the signs with out a law to back them up unless Hammond has passed an ordinance. As bill said the business posted a lying sign.

This is not a conspiracy I can vouch for the fact that our 3 have us well trained. :D:vapor:

FDA bolsters claim for chantix safety

It wouldn't have made it to that level. If they had one provable death it would knock the Mideast off the front page. The glANTZ are sick.:vapor:

FDA So what might really happen with regulations/bans? Should we be stocking up?

I think BGs attitude is who cares, it won't matter after the deeming regulations are in effect.:vapor:

New study - number of people who have tried e-cigs levels off

They are looking at the wrong data, if they want a good estimate of e-cigarettes market penetration they need to compare year to year quarterly cigarette sales. Most of that is caused by e-cigarettes as prior to them they were slowly dropping at 1% or less per year. :vapor:

FDA Should I donate to help fund Dr. Michael Siegel's new study?

Dr. Siegel is trying to drive the changing polygon shape of e-cigarettes into the square hole of clinical testing and it will never fit. Even surveys can't keep up with how fast e-cigarette technology is changing but well written ones could collect the anecdotal evidence into a format that even...

    cigarettes and alcohol

Hadn't thought about this, I wonder if anyone has done a study on munchie sales at bars since they passed the no smoking laws. More unintended consequences and job security for the "public health" nannies.:D:vapor:

    cigarettes and alcohol

Sounds right, it's called disposable income and if BG takes more of it people have to cut back somewhere. Unless someone is a full blown alcoholic they will just cut back to compensate for the increased taxes. Unintended consequences for BG, cigarette taxes go up and alcohol taxes go down. While...

FDA Hospitals now offering e-cigarettes to smokers and vapers in hospital

I wonder if they went to one of the bigger Chinese vendors and had them make a private brand. Easy way to prevent any smuggling. :glare::D:vapor:

FDA Should I donate to help fund Dr. Michael Siegel's new study?

This is the reason for all the science by press release, we still see the crap from the FDA 2009 study that has been debunked many times being used in articles against e-cigarettes. Propaganda works and the TCI are experts at it.:vapor:

    Another MSN Article.

In other words another fixed study that worked. It netted the Tobacco Control Industry more FUD headlines with (being nice) "questionable science" that got cancer involved. We need to find some propagandists for our side that are half as good as TCI after their 3+ decades of practice...
