    Keep in mind also has to do with the device. Some VV devices shine with say a 1.5-1.8ohm resistance, some really don't play well with anything lover than 2.0ohms.

    Magmas have crazy long 510 posts, I can tell you from experience that if you try to screw it down to close some of that gap you can crush the 510 connection on your mod. No idea if they can be milled down or not, I just run mine on a mech mod with floating 510 pin to be safe. Damn thing leaks...
