Right, passthrough is great if you're near a power source ;-).
All I meant was that with something like a Vamo or other regulated tube mod you have the ability to carry extra batteries but you're spot on Bad as always.
Hard to beat the MVP2 as a step up for sure.
I try not to think about it...lol. Honestly don't think I'll ever break even but I didn't switch to vaping to save money so it's ok. If I stopped buying gear and made more DIY I'd have a shot at it I guess.
Great build but I have a stupid question: What is the purpose or reversing direction in the middle of the coil wrap? I've seen it before but can't for the life of me figure it out.
Those are great pics Emmanuel, well done! There are others on the site that take really good ones too but I agree that most are just quick snapshots from phones.
The other thing that blows my mind is how small the hands of many reviewers must be. Tell me you haven't bought something and, when...
The Nautilus Aspire, especially with the BVC heads, is a great way to start but you can also get a great vape from less expensive things like Kanger Evod or PTM2s so don't rule those out. Either way you'll do great.
I'd suggest a Vamo V5 since you said you like the idea of being able to swap...
If you are getting vapor but just can't taste it anymore it sounds like vapers tongue for sure.
Try using strong mouthwash and smelling something strong too, like coffee beans, and see if that helps. Don't lose heart, it passes but not as quickly as one would like.
There are many, many, MANY, vids available on youtube and my suggestion would be to watch as many as you can before you take the next step. I personally found Grimmgreen, Todd (todd's ecig reviews), and a few others very helpful and now also like Twisted420 a lot as well.
Keep in mind that...
I've got one, had it about a week, and agree that it works well and will run an RDA subohm as well as a tank but it feels strange in the hand.
If you can do without the bells and whistles, i.e. digital readout and suck, maybe look into the Hexohm box mod.
+10 for the Cherry Vapes Cloud Chaser tip. Have a few and love them! Have many other wide bore and like many of them but for big hits nothing like the Cloud Chaser tips.
I know is disperses in the air in the room, car, etc. but I also know that it sticks to things and most noticably to windows, compters, etc.
The stuff is a real {Moderated} to get off, only think I have found that works was a suggestion from someone on ECF. Use 50/50 water and vinegar to clean...
Exactly! People have a misconception that a DNA 30 device will push more power than anyone could ever want. If you use an ohms law calculator you will find that if you run the .3ohm build you mention above on a mech mod with a fresh battery at 4.2 volts it will draw 58.8 watts! That build...
Has nothing to do with the number of coils you are running, has to do with the final ohm level your build is. A dual coil, if each coil is the same, will cut your ohm level in half (i.e. a 1.0 ohm coil, if run in duals, will result in a .5 ohm build). Your mod and battery have no idea if your...
Grimmgreen, IMO, does the best job of speaking to the beginner as well as the veteran with all of his reviews and I just like the guy. Think he does a really great job covering all of the aspects of a device and isn't afraid to tell the viewer when there is a shortcoming with a mod or topper...
First was the UD AGI run as an RDA, still an amazing vape for what it is and can also be run as the top portion of a good geni tank. Current fav is either the 454 or Zenith V2.
You're probably cooking your juice and chain vaping too quickly is my take. Keep in mind that wicks are bidirectional so if you burn the juice that is in the wick some will make its way back into the tank. Maybe turn your vv/vw down a bit or shorten your pulls? Sometimes I will pulse hit a...
Ditto...
Maybe Rob can reengineer the next LP Grand with the battery and bottle swapped, hole position on the RM2 moved, etc. so that we don't have to thread our wicks left handed. Seems like the easiest solution to me ;-).
Changes are coming, no doubt about it. Because of the interwebs these incidents are picked up right away and used as leverage against vaping in general.
Case in point, a few days ago the local paper here in Boston ran a story about someone who packed an APV in their luggage which, it would...
