    These types of devices are "direct connect" which give the "hybrid" look, they are not truly hybrid devices as you point out.

    Well, my research indicates that you aren't supposed to torch nickel wire either. Can't dry fire it, can't torch it, pretty finicky stuff actually but the vape so far seems pretty darn good all in all. Good thought though, thanks!

    I use either KGD or Bacon Cotton these days, haven't used cotton ball cotton in a long time but when I did I never boiled it. Come to think of it I never boiled my cigs either so seems about right to me. Honestly, to me, the Bacon Cotton has the cleanest taste of any of the wicks I have tried...

    Hotel room vaping = stealth vaping. Leave the cloud chasing for when you are outside or at home and don't think that using one of the new sub-ohm tanks isn't cloud chasing because it is. When I am in a hotel room I go to a standard good ol' KPT Mini 2 on a Vamo or some other Evod connection...
