    Thanks :) I've seen some battery pack mods running 2-3 batteries in parallel, putting out about 8v (give or take a few volts). Think I'll attempt something along those lines next. If moving from 3.2v to 5v gives this big a boost to vapor, I can only imagine what moving to 8v+ would do :D...

    I still have a functioning 401 auto batt (and about 15 carts), and have been kicking around the idea of picking up some attys. Since getting this manual one though, don't know if I could go back to an auto. I have become a fan of the whistle tip though :)

    The 401's I had were the longer cutoff. Didn't hit the time out (about 7 seconds) too often, but when I did, it was quite obnoxious. In general, the manual batt seems to put out more vapor though, even in the same amount of time.

    WOOOHOOO!!! My order just came in!!! So happy to be vaping again!!! I've only had it for about 5 minutes, but I already prefer my 510 w/manual batt. over my old 401 w/auto batt. :)

    @shasta While I liked the M401, parts can be a little harder to come by. In addition, one of my friends has a 510. Puts out a lot more vapor and the batteries seem to last a bit longer. I think you'll be pleased with your kit when it shows up :)

    Ok, so I placed an order with Cignot last night for the 510 (no box) kit. I was a little concerned ordering from them considering how cheap it was, but I'm feeling much more confident after finding this thread. Looking forward to getting back on the vape-train.

    Well, after the dog chewed up two of my m401's and I flat out lost another one, I had given up on vaping for a bit. But, after my 3rd sinus infection of the year, I need to get back on board. Just picked up a 510 kit. Hope it gets here quickly. Back on the vape train for me.
