    voltage / atty combo favorite...

6v with standard 510s is my favorite combo when I'm relaxing at home. 3.7v with LR 306s or LR 510 cartos are a very close second and what I use throughout the day while out of the house.

The Tonic line is made in the US by Pure Smoker. CaSH liquids are imported from China.

Importance of Air Quality Testing of Vapor

And those accusations will be made. That's one of the few guarantees we have. If every member of the ECF donated the cost of one atomizer, then there would be enough money to perform this study several times over with no donations required from those who have a financial interest in the outcome.

    Now I have Icon questions

You can use regular cartos with the Icon, just like with any other 3.7v device. LR atties/cartos are used to simulate ~5v vaping at 3.7v. The drawback is the drain on the batteries. So if you use a regular 14500 battery, you're going to be taxing the battery because of the added drain and...

    Question regarding V3

I have only used the 808 cartos from Pure Smoker (Atomz). But assuming they're the same as the ones from V4L, then yes. I have used them on mine @ 6v. Atomz are just regular/standard 808D cartos. Just a word of warning, though. Using the 808 cartos at 6v completely ruined the 3.7v experience...

E-cig industry is eagerly awaiting oral argument Thursday before the U.S. Court of Appeals

I agree. This is not the first time I've read of someone complaining that JC's liquids are too expensive. And I don't get that. $19.95 for something that lasts upwards of 2 weeks (I get about 2.5 weeks per bottle) is not expensive at all. I actually consider it very inexpensive when compared to...

    Zip Tip

I know I would. I haven't stocked up on cartos yet because I'm hoping PS will start selling them. Then I'll stock up.

    Zip Tip

They normally sell stainless 510 Zip Tips but must be out of stock at the moment. And they do not currently sell 510 cartomizers, but Steve hinted that they might start selling true Joye cartos in the near future.

Prodigy V2 vs V3 size comparison?

A lot of people feel that way. I have (and love) the original Prodigy too. It was my first mod and will always have a special place in my collection. But I really wasn't prepared for how much I love the V3. I actually almost didn't buy it because I was turned off by the concept of a bottom...

aw 14500 high drain in icon

buGG sold me on the AW IMR 14500s, and I won't go back to the Tenergys. I highly recommend them. If only Pure Smoker sold them on their site (along with the AW LiFePO4s for the V3), they would be my one-stop shop (at least for all hardware). Oh, and I second 7thCabal on the adapter. If you...

Pure Smoker Prodigy V3 @ 6v with standard 510. Johnson Creek Red Oak Domestic 18 mg. Both 5/5. This is my favorite combination.

Importance of Air Quality Testing of Vapor

I agree 100%. Besides the "they contain antifreeze" line, the second most common quote (usually from some 'medical professional') is that "we just don't know what's in them to know that they're safe". So far, our responses (while valid) have been "it doesn't take a lot of common sense to know...

FDA acts against electronic cigarette distributors

It probably would have been wise but, really, wouldn't make much of a difference when it comes to the FDA. If they are allowed to continue with this precedent, however, more makers of consumer goods had better watch out. Because I was remembering.... Years ago, I enjoyed running and fitness...
