What kind of atty? With a 510, I use 3 drops max. But still occasionally get leaks, especially if I redrip too soon. With 901s, I use 2 drops (sometimes 3), but they still can leak like mad.
I don't know anything about 801s or other attys.
They're not supposed to screw all the way down. Turn it until it first gets snug and then maybe give it another quarter turn. If you overtighten it, you will short the atty.
I almost didn't buy the V3 specifically because of its bottom button. I couldn't imagine that it would be very comfortable or practical to use. But PureSmoker hasn't let me down yet, so I went ahead and got one. Am I ever glad I did. I fell in love with the bottom button almost immediately. I...
Blow gently into the drip tip after dripping into it before your first drag. Don't blow hard enough to blow liquid out of the bottom of the atty; just give it a quick pffttt. After getting liquid into my mouth a few times, I started doing that. It works really well.
Here's another vote for the Super Ts.
I resisted dripping and used carts for almost 11 months. I just didn't "get it"; dripping just seemed like too much trouble. But as soon as I got and used my first T-Tip, I knew I was done with carts forever.
Have you considered dripping at all?
I used carts for almost a full year, sharing almost all of the frustrations you listed plus leaky 510 carts, before I discovered the joys of dripping. I resisted for so long because it seemed like dripping would be too much of a hassle. I didn't like the...
I, for one, have been very happy with the mechanical switches on the V2 and the Protege. Yes, they need regular maintenance and Noalox works wonders. So if you're not willing to maintain a device, then they are not for you. (But don't be fooled. Other mods also recommend regular maintenance and...
I'm avoiding the Mercado one because just the very thought of cloves makes me ill.
But I did just order a JC trio of Wisconsin Frost. I've been using it 2 days and have found that the more I use it, the more I love it. And it's a good thing I ordered too. Because as I was refilling my carto, I...
I've been to the dentist twice since making the switch. The last visit was the first time that I've had zero cigarettes between cleanings; at the last one, I had been using my PV for only 5 months. Before making the switch, I had smoked for 21 years. So my dentist and hygienist had never seen me...
Thanks, Tracey. I was actually thinking that the WF would do well with Original and TC, and I might try that tomorrow.
That might work for the Valencia too.
I think I have to correct my previous post. I've been using the Wisconsin Frost most of the day and have decided that the taste is actually more minty than menthol. The more I use it, the more I like it. It's quite a complex liquid.
I just opened my bottle of Wisconsin Frost and loaded up an 808 cartomizer. I really like it. I agree with bettyboop; it has a definite menthol flavor rather than mint. And I also agree that's a good thing. Other suppliers' menthols that I have tried were too close to a medicinal menthol flavor...
Fantastic! Something to look forward to from an otherwise sucky day.
I'm ready to place a pre order in my cart as soon as you give the word. My Protege still works fine, but I love the button/switch on the V3 too much to not have it in a smaller form factor for on-the-go use.
Jimi Mack, I'm 99.999 percent sure that this "bottom button Protege" is going to be a brand new device -- the next gen Protege (or whatever it ends up being named) instead of an upgrade to existing Proteges.
What I'm hoping for (and am ready to buy the minute they go up for preorder) is a...
