    V2 help

I'm just curious: when you've blown 510 attys, are you dripping? I'm asking because I've had the V1 and V2 and haven't lost an atty until yesterday when I tried dripping. It popped within a few drags. So I'm wondering if it was coincidence, or if my dripping experiment was what did it in...

    anyone tried johnson creek vanilla?

I use Johnson Creek exclusively, but I've never tried their vanilla. I use their Original and Tennessee Cured. Love both of them.

    Protege V1.1 Coming Soon ...

I'm not sure if this was said or not. But it needs to be added that their excellent free switch upgrade program is just...well.... just totally awesome!

Why is one mod better than the other?

Same here. I tried vaping at 6v once and nearly choked myself. It's just not for me. 5v is perfect. PS now offers a lifetime warranty on the V2 and the Protege V1.1. They also offered a lifetime warranty on their mechanical switch upgrades for the V1 and original Protege.

Why? Problems with moving to e-Liquid

I agree. It could be an allergic reaction to another ingredient in these particular liquids besides being a simple PG vs VG issue. My first 510 came in a kit with a box of regular tobacco-flavored pre-filled carts. Within a few minutes of using one, I started sneezing, my nose was running, and...

Prodigy V2 with 510 atom kit

No. Here's the original thread. The OP explains it much better than I did. I have not had a melted cart since. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/tips-tricks/30639-dont-melt-my-510-cart-tip.html#post483052

Prodigy V2 with 510 atom kit

It makes perfect sense. I also noticed that if I use an atty on my V2 that it sort of 'ruins' it for a lower voltage device (such as a stock 510 or even my Protege). So I just keep my attys separate. And I've also revived an atty I had relegated to the atty graveyard with my V2. It's working...

    Question to fellow vapors.

I'll throw in another voice of support of JC. I've used their liquids exclusively for 8 months now, and I've suffered only one atomizer death. And that was my fault for removing the wick. (I was a newbie and thought it was cart stuffing stuck under there.) That moment of stupidity also killed...

Just for fun...list all of your PV's.

Listed in order of purchase: QuantumCig mini - impulse buy at a mall kiosk. It was my introduction to the world of e-cigs. 510 (Cylon model: stainless with red LED) - Four or five of them purchased from Jason at electronicstix.com. Prodigy with 510 adapter from PureSmoker Protege with...

Protege 14500 batteries blue vs. purple

Yes and no. Yes, in that I know the cause: The bottom post in the switch needs to be pushed out a bit to make good contact with the purple batteries. This is an issue that affects only my switch (as far as we know now). It was one of the very first mechanical switches out for the Protege. Other...

how often do you replace your cart filling

I use Fluval (fish tank filter) and use a single cart for a week (Mon - Sun). I have maybe 15 or 20 carts currently in rotation. Here's my routine: I throw my used empty carts in a cup and, when I've collected enough of them, I soak them for a few hours (or overnight) in Listerine, rinse, and...

Bad switch V2.. Thank god for backup device

The #60 o-ring mod has done wonders for both my V2 and Protege. I keep meaning to do it to the V1 (which also has a mechanical switch) but I just haven't dragged it out of the storage bin yet. From what I've gathered in other threads, the two major things that can keep a mechanical switch from...

    Protege V1.1 Coming Soon ...

It bugged me from an aesthetic standpoint at first. But I agree that it makes for a more consistent draw on different attys. So now I, too, actually like the design.

How does the o-ring go on the protege switch?

This is exactly what I bought at my local Home Depot store. They also sell them online. DANCO # 60 O-Ring 10/Pack - 96744 at The Home Depot
