Yep. TH is directly tied to the nicotine.

What is your on the go PV?

I take my PureSmoker Icon everywhere with me. I use it with LR Boge cartos and, as of 4 days ago, a 3 ml stainless Liquinator. At home, I use my Prodigy V3 and drip with either 510 or 306 atties.

    Batteries, basic and general facts?

They're about the same in my experience. I get about 6 to 7 hours (a full day at the office) with one. But since I use only low resistance, I use the AWs since they can better handle the strain. They will live longer overall (or at least I've been told).

    Batteries, basic and general facts?

I'm no battery expert, but I'll see what I can do to help by explaining the 4 types of batteries PureSmoker sells: The RCR123a batteries are 3v each and are used in the Prodigy V3 (2 stacked for 6v). They are a safer chemistry than Li-Ion called LiFePO4. These batteries reportedly will not...

New Foulds/Veldheer/Berg study on Philly Vape Fest attendees

Yes! If we don't continue to make the distinction between smoking cessation and nicotine cessation, then no one will. Most of those against us refuse to acknowledge there is a difference. That was the crux of the FDA's argument: that the intended purpose of these devices is to treat nicotine...

Excessive vaping concerns- 10 days in

Don't believe that for a minute. A lot of these companies, especially those in convenience stores and kiosks, claim one of their cartridges is equivalent to a pack of cigarettes. The kiosk where I bought my first kit claimed it was closer to 1.5 packs. In reality, it's not even close...

    Johnson Creek

I get a fantastic TH from Red Oak 18mg. Granted, I use it primarily at 6v, direct dripping. When I use it at 3.7, it's with a low res. So that probably contributes to it.

    Juice leaving a lingering aroma

That's a misconception often stated by vapers, and it's wrong. A lot of liquids generate vapor that doesn't have an odor, especially the Chinese liquid often used in pre-filled cartos. But as more and more vendors started making their own liquids in an infinite catalog of flavors, odors have...

How many different models have you purchased?

    Lets see: 1) mall kit (no idea what model) 2) 510 3) Prodigy V1 4) Protege 5) Prodigy V2 6) KR808 7) Prodigy V3 8) Icon 9) Alpha 10) eGo. So I'm currently holding at 10.

    Boge 510 LR cartomizers?

Just be warned that they absolutely scream through the liquid at 6v.

E-Cig Feature in US Parmacist (7/2011)

Funny...It never even occurred to me to ask my pharmacist's opinion on whether or not I should use an e-cigarette. But if it had occurred to me and I asked the pharmacist "what should I do? continue to smoke or try one of these e-cigarettes?" and the response was continue to smoke, I would find...

    Boge 510 LR cartomizers?

PureSmoker sells dual coils. But -- and this is strictly my opinion -- they suck at 3.7v. They take too long to heat up, and the draw becomes too stiff pretty quickly. I do, however, enjoy them at 6v. At 3.7v, it's hard to beat a LR Boge.

    Boge 510 LR cartomizers?

The Boge LR 510s are all I use on my Icon. I really wasn't a carto fan until I tried those. They converted me.

    Ok... Help Me Choose!

+1. I love the media blasted finish. I have V3s in both finishes and much prefer the media one.

    The Icon Rocks!

I'm glad you like it. I love mine too. To your questions: no real difference between the two at 3.7v. The only advantage is much longer battery life on the V3 with the 17670. It's time to replace the battery when it starts taking longer to heat up and you notice a drop in vapor. I do like...

    Juice leaving a lingering aroma

Oh, yeah. That's another one. But I admit to not liking that one at all (sorry, Steve). So I didn't use it enough to notice if the aroma lingered. I think it's actually common for some of the stronger-flavored liquids to leave behind an aroma. I remember reading in some thread that someone...

    Juice leaving a lingering aroma

It's not your setup. I, too, have noticed that some of the Tonic flavors leave an aroma. I haven't tried that many of them; I've never been too adventurous with my liquids. But I have definitely noticed it with Manchester, Nashville's Finest, and Firecracker.

    Prodigy @ 3.7 vs Icon?

This is [obviously] only my personal opinion. But if I vaped only at 3.7v, I would choose the Icon. It's the perfect size for on-the-go use, especially if you want to put your PV in a front shirt pocket, as I do at work (a corporate environment). The relatively shorter battery life is offset by...

Utah e-cigarette user / idiot arrested for throwing peanuts at flight attendant

Yes. I think the point of the story is that a 42-year old adult threw a temper tantrum that might be expected from an ill-behaved 9-year old child. The fact that an e-cig served as the impetus of said tantrum is material and unfortunate for us. That said, I'm going to show my ignorance. I...

    Icon Questions

No. It's a satin stainless finish, not a chrome-like finish. At least I never have problems with fingerprints. But if you care which I prefer, I much prefer the Media Blasted finish. It's a more dull grey color and looks very nice. I ordered my first V3 in the satin stainless but later decided...
