    I admit I'm not 100% sure either. But I'm assuming from its use on the forum that it means stripping the threads, like what happens with screws. The threads are stripped and won't catch/screw on properly.

    That gives me a new theory. I wonder if the higher voltage is 'cooking' the liquid onto the atty. And then the 3.7v device can't get hot enough to get through the cooked-on gunk. But boiling the atty cleaned it out. Just a theory...

    eh, I'm not convinced that there are so many dissatisfied customers so much as there are a few very loud ones. and no. I'm not arguing that their complaints aren't valid. I just simply don't know; I've been very happy as are many others on the PureSmoker subforum.

    Fair enough that you and others in this thread have had problems. But let's spare the hyperbole, shall we? I, and many others, are using the PS mods with no problems. So it's not fair to say that every mod they put out has switch problems. I have 3 that do not. I am a very happy customer.
