My first 6v vape with the v3.1! How can I avoid frying attys?

Yeah. Google it. There are some YouTube vids on how to do it. That's how I learned. Air gets trapped at the bottom of the cartos, and the taryn spin forces the liquid down and the air out. I would search for a link for you, but my work blocks the ECF. So I'm on my iPhone. Sent from my iPhone...

My first 6v vape with the v3.1! How can I avoid frying attys?

Add more juice. That taste is burning filler. Use the condom fill and taryn spin to fill it. It should hold about a ML of liquid. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

My first 6v vape with the v3.1! How can I avoid frying attys?

Yeah. That should be fine. Just be sure to pulse the button even on the HR until you know how it will act. Letting the batteries sit is critical only on SR atties, I think. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

And to your other questions: HR to start is probably your safest bet. And LR is definitely for 3.7 only. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

My first 6v vape with the v3.1! How can I avoid frying attys?

Oh.... Very important: don't use batteries fresh off the charger, especially if you're using std atties. Let them sit for at least an hour so the voltage will drop back down to ~3.2v. The LiFePOs charge up to around 3.6 or so but quickly drop back down to their nominal levels. Sent from my...

My first 6v vape with the v3.1! How can I avoid frying attys?

Yes. That's what I meant. Just blow the excess juice from the atty into a napkin and start the process over. That doesn't apply to cartos. With those, just fill and go. I've yet to pop one of those. But you can scorch the filler. So keep em wet. Congrats on your new stash. Hope you love it...

My first 6v vape with the v3.1! How can I avoid frying attys?

Pulse the button instead of doing one long hit. For example, instead of holding it in for 5 seconds, do a 1-2-2-second pulse. Also, be sure to keep it wet. I usually start with 3 drops, take a quick hit or two, and then add 2 more drops to prime it. Then I add 3 drops as needed. After an hour or...

    Tennessee Call to Action!

There is a big difference between being FDA registered and FDA approved. Johnson Creek is FDA registered, for example. Which is he talking about? Anyone know? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

BBC News- Possible Death from E-Cig Use?

same here. If I weren't absolutely convinced that they are less harmful that cigarettes, I never would have bought one in the first place. How am I so convinced, you may ask. Well, I'm no rocket scientist, but it doesn't take an advanced degree to know that inhaling vapor is less harmful than...

    new fda rules

I saw the post on facebook too. I'm just curious if the seized liquid included an ingredient list, as the OP stated was a requirement for allowing shipments. (That is assuming the info is indeed correct and accurately reflects the FDA's new position.) Just thinking aloud, but say the FDA has...

    Are you Menthol Vaping?

None of the options really fit my case, but I guess the first one is the closest. I smoked menthols for 21 years and would go without rather than smoke a regular cigarette. However, when I switched to vaping, I quickly realized that I liked the 'tobacco' flavors much better than the menthols. So...

Guess who finally decided to get a Prodigy v3.1?

Another bit of advice about the charger saying your batteries are ready: grab the negative contacts on the charger and gently pull them out a bit. Those Tenergy LiFePO chargers are notorious for that; the contact gets pushed in and doesn't make full contact with the battery. So you might not be...

Guess who finally decided to get a Prodigy v3.1?

That applies only to 6v. I have never had a problem using the 14500s right off the charger.

    ICON with Cartos?

I'm on my 3rd box of Boges, and have not yet found one that will not work on my Icon. All of mine come from PS. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    ICON with Cartos?

I replied there too, but I'll do it here too. I recommend the Boges over the BEs. There was nothing about the BEs I liked, including a much stiffer draw and a silver sticker that looks...well...tacky.

    NOALOX good for adapters?

I don't use it anymore at all. I found that it tends to attract dirt and dust and just requires you to clean your threads more often. Some people still swear by it, and I can see how it would be helpful if you're in danger of cross-threading. But if your threads are working fine and you're not...
