    eVic-VT mini?

Yes ignore it. The amperage at the coil means absolutely nothing and I wish Joytech would not have included it since all it does is confuse people. Most of us prefer to adjust our vape by wattage (power). In the old days we used voltage, but wattage is much better for a number of reasons...

    RTA/RBA options for newbie builds

The Subtank Mini without a doubt. It's the easiest deck to build on -- much easier than a Kayfun. But it's single coil. For dual coils, any deck with velocity style posts (they make things so much easier).

    OBS Crius RTA?

Post pics of your TC coils in your deck. Also tell me what temp and wattage you vape it at. I am still working on "perfecting" my Crius builds.

What wire to rebuild Subtanks RBA?

26 GA. Typically you want as thick of a wire as you can fit into the deck while still getting in the resistance range you want. A 26GA wire around a 2.5mm bit with 8 wraps will give you about 1Ω. That should fit in the STM deck.

    Titanium wire, vaping and safety

How is the LV's, Ti wire? I noticed they recently started carrying it. Is it really grade 1? Is it clean?

How is temp control different from vaping at lower wattage?

Right now I am using a Crius, but I just got it a few days ago. I either get dry hits or I flood it. It's hard to get the proper medium I need.

How is temp control different from vaping at lower wattage?

Are you using mostly drippers? I use RTA's and I am having a hard time getting my wicking saturated enough to pull off a 60W @ 420F.

Do Dual Coils Affect TC Accuracy?

You already have your answers. The posters in the threads you linked explained it already. The TCR is an inherent value of the element in question; it doesn't change no matter what mass of that element you use. What will change is the heat flux and thus the amount of power needed to increase...

How is temp control different from vaping at lower wattage?

It's different because just a few watts can heat up an atty to extreme temps. It doesn't take much. TC is especially helpful in a tank where you don't have total control over the juice flow/wicking. It's good for drippers if you forget to drip (no dry hits). However, TC is about so much...

TC beyond Ni200: Nickel Purity, Dicodes; Ti, SS, Resistherm NiFe30; Coefficient of Resistance

And apparently with the v3 firmware update, it is extremely accurate on Ti and SS modes. I currently use a Koopor Mini and an IPV D2 as my backup devices (recently got a DNA200), but I might just have to buy the VTC Mini when I scrounge up some spare cash.

    eVic-VT mini?

DJLSB just put up a video of his thermocouple tests on the v3 firmware. In Ti, SS304 and SS316 modes, it was extremely accurate with the TCR values in the video.

    What to start with?

Yeah but he just posted that today. I was going off his past review where he said the temp was off. Busardo found the same thing in his tests. If they did indeed fix it with the new update, then that's good. If it is accurate now, then I would probably recommend it over the others because I...

    OBS Crius RTA?

Finally got this tank in the mail and been messing with it for the past couple days. My impressions: 1) It's nice looking and well machined 2) The top fill method is pretty slick 3) It's hard to take apart 4) I don't like the wicking ring. They should have made it removable like on the...

My OBS crius juice flow control holes dont match up

Check to make sure you have the base (deck) screwed in all the way (and that you haven't cross threaded it). I saw a reviewer whose tank was doing what yours is because they didn't screw it in right. I wanted to yell at my monitor. If you're sure you have screwed it down the correct way...

    What to start with?

I don't own an Evic. I was merely going off the thermocouple test results that various reviewers have done. The VTC Mini is always well off the correct temperature. It might be possible to offset the TCR, but you'd need a thermocouple to do your own testing to get it right. I mean it does...

    What to start with?

If you don't mind TC that "sorta works but not really" then the VTC mini would be a good option. Otherwise go with one of the IPV's (D2 or D3) since they have Yihi chips in them.

TC beyond Ni200: Nickel Purity, Dicodes; Ti, SS, Resistherm NiFe30; Coefficient of Resistance

Yes, that's also a big issue. I was talking more about how their Ti is not really Grade 1. They are selling Grade 2 Ti (which is cheaper to make) at a dollar per foot, when you can buy Grade 1 for $.30 per foot. I believe now they admit it is not Grade 1, but they wont admit it is merely Grade...

    Titanium wire, vaping and safety

I am looking for the old discussion on Sweet Spot Vaper's bogus claims about their Ti wire. I know we had a couple of metallurgists on this forum who debunked their claims but I cannot find the specific posts. I believe druckle is a metallurgist and there was another guy too who used to post...

TC beyond Ni200: Nickel Purity, Dicodes; Ti, SS, Resistherm NiFe30; Coefficient of Resistance

Can anyone give me a run down on the SSV controversy? What are the claims they were making and how are those claims incorrect? I do not feel like digging for hours in this thread to find the discussion about it. I know we have a metallurgist here who thoroughly debunked some of their claims...

    HCigar VT200

I went to my B&M last night and looked at a few DNA-200 mods and the VT200 is by far the nicest looking. It is much smaller than I figured it would be after watching the reviews. I knew I just had to get one, so I went home and ordered one online (apologies to my local B&M). The only...
