    Yeah I agree. I think most of this stuff is the placebo effect, though I don't deny that people taste the machining oils and what not on new coils and mistake it for metal.

    I didn't take it as he was going to do a clinical study (he's not an M.D.), but I understood it as more of a lab study (i.e. heat the wire and examine it with electron microscopes, etc.).
