It's pretty preposterous to ban vaping in any outdoor area. Indoors, I can get behind. Outdoors in a wilderness is pretty silly. It's just indicative of where society is at today (nanny statism).- BigEgo

I kind of like the real-time resistance reading because it allows me to calculate if the temperature is correct (or if the mod is using the right TCR). I do wish, however, that there was a way to check the locked resistance without having to manipulate the fire button. -

Good idea. I've tried to use Ti mode at max temp (600F) and it's not enough to get a glow even in a dark room. I think we need around 800F (425°C) to get a decent mild glow on Ti. -

The resistance it shows is the highest resistance the coil hit when you last fired it. Nickel wire changes resistance when heated (this is how the temperature is calculated). -

Are those nickel coils? If so, be sure the temp setting is set to nickel. If using Ti coils, be sure it's set to Ti mode. I need to be around 450 to get a decent vape as well. I doubt 350 is accurate. It would be impossible to get much vapor (especially with a high VG juice) at 350°F. I... -

As long as the coiling material is Ti, then it doesn't matter what kind of coil you use. It can be a quad double dragon fused clapton for all TC cares. All the mod needs to know is 1) that it's Ti and 2) what the base resistance of coil is at room temperature. As for spaced coils, this goes... -

I've been dry burning my Ti before wicking it. Based on the resistance change on my IPV D2, I estimate the temperature to be around 800°F. Coil turns blue/purple with no visible white oxide layer. Am I gonna die? -

Smok Koopor Mini 60w
Just finished my 2nd full battery on the Koopor. Got 520 puffs and 1,600 seconds @ 450F on a 0.3Ω Ti coil. That's on a Samsung 30Q 3000mAh battery. This is 53% longer than what I got yesterday on my 25R (1,039 seconds on a similar Ti coil). So, any rumor you hear about "bad battery life" does... -

No. If the device allows you to set a custom TCR, then you can certainly use them for temp control. I saw a video the other day where Phil Busardo was vaping SS in TC mode with the Pipeline mod. -

Just got finished with my first full battery on the Koopor. According to the puff counter, I used the mod for 1,039 seconds, which came out to 384 puffs. This is on a Samsung 25R. -
