As we all know, VaporShark recently tested all of the liquids they carry and many of them came back with very high levels of DA/AP. This caused a lot of outrage from vendors who have been making up conspiracy theories about the testing, etc.
Anyway, on his show last night, Dimitri went on a...
Only way you can know if a juice is DA/AP free is to have it tested. Period. A lot of companies flat out LIE about this topic. Even the flavoring manufacturers have been caught lying.
It's not easy to compare vaping nic to cigarette nic. But I used to smoke ulta-lights (which are now called "orange" by law). I looked on the back of the pack once and it said 0.5mg of nic per cigarette. That's 10mg per pack. I smoked 2 PAD, which would be about 20mg of nic per day.
I now...
Probably because of its high heat tolerance.
Also, crystalline silica dust can cause silicosis, but the silica used in these wick is amorphous. However, amorphous silica may not be completely risk free (though it is safer than the crystalline form). You have to remember that workers or miners...
So is this resistance fluctuation only seem to be an issue with Kanger coils? Is this happening with rebuilding (either on the Subtank or RDA's)?
I really wish the Evic had upgradeable firmware. I suspect they will be coming out with a v2 in short order if this problem becomes a real issue...
Just to clarify once more: This issue has nothing to do with charging the device. People have had this device melt even if they charge their batteries externally.
The problem is the charging board inside the mod is janky and is shorting out even when the device is not being charged...
Tap water has been and is scrutinized by people who are qualified experts. You will find things like chlorine and flouride in tap water, both of which are deadly at very high levels, but harmless at the levels in water. Both of these chemicals provide a benefit -- a benefit that far outweighs...
Here is a good scientific review done by CDC/NIOSH in regard to formulating standards regarding DA/AP. I will post the preface below. It's kind of long, but worth a read.
I made a long post on reddit about this issue that was upvoted to the top, so I suspect nyiddle is using some of my math. However, he got something a bit wrong, which I will explain below.
When NIOSH took air samples from the (6 I believe) popcorn plants they found an average of about 57 ppm...
The diacetyl debate has become religious for some people, but I can say that there is evidence (real scientific evidence) that diacetyl is linked to popcorn lung as well as other less severe respiratory problems. This evidence includes not just observational studies of factory workers but also...
A lie. They do not want to face liability if a vaper blows himself up. These batteries were never intended to be sent directly to consumers. They are meant to be OEM's sent to manufacturers of power tools, computers, etc.
If Sony really does have battery plants still in operation, I find it...
Get the new RBA deck with the big holes in the side of the chamber. Should help with dry hits.
Another option is to file the juice channels on the deck. I bought a $4 hand file set from Wally World, spent about 20 minutes and opened my juice channels. Now there are no dry hits.
Yes, been following and posting to that reddit thread. Sadly, I don't think any testing will make any difference as the vast majority of vapers will simply plug their ears and sing la la la la.
Lol, yep. The DNA-200 is very bad for Samsung, LG, Sony. Once it is released, every other mod manufacturer will copy the replaceable Lipo idea (yes I realize some are using Lipos already, but I think now it will totally obsolete 18650's in mods).
Some people are having the device vent and catch on fire even if they charge externally. It is theorized that the charging board is not insulated and is somehow coming in contact with metal inside the mod, thereby creating a short and a venting situation. Thus people are now starting to take...
