How is temp control different from vaping at lower wattage?

I am asthmatic and severely allergic to cats as well. No way could I have one living in my house. I would be taking breathing treatments daily.

    DNA 200 Watt

It's accurate. SHA-1 is being deprecated by everyone because of attacks that have been published in the public literature (not to mention what NSA can probably do in secret). Oh, and by the way, SHA-1 and SHA-2 were designed and published by NSA. Makes you feel all warm and fuzzy, eh? :smokie:

    The Ultimate TCR List

That's what I do. The problem is the probe is made of metal and is electrically conductive, so you can't make metal to metal contact if you want it to be accurate. I've shorted out more than one coil by doing this. Sure I can use cotton, but I've found it makes the reading lower than it...

    The Ultimate TCR List

Yep. i have done the same thing. Getting an accurate reading is MUCH more difficult than Busardo and DJLSB make it look (and I question their results based on my experiences). Moving the probe even a hair can affect the reading.

    The Ultimate TCR List

Yes I have used the Ni coils. You have to turn them up to at least 500F at the minimum to get anything out of them. 600F is better and more satisfying. I am not the only one reporting this -- there's numerous other people in the Vaporesso thread saying the same thing.

    The Ultimate TCR List

They are really weird. You have to turn them up to near 600F to get a decent vape because of the way the coil is sintered into the ceramic. So, you really can't measure the temp of vaporization by knowing the temp of the coil. I don't know what the solution is.

Yet Another Formaldehyde Study (this time from Enthalpy labs)

Enthalpy labs produced a study that was just published in the March 2016 edition of Regulatory Toxicology and Pharmacology. Much like the study I talked about a few days ago (thread is below this one) they tested devices at various wattages and recorded aldehyde formation at each. The...

It's because Stainless Steel has a low TCR and it's hard for the mods to regulate such small changes in voltages needed to maintain a temp. Hence the pulsing.

    More Immune Suppression Studies

A Researcher from UNC Chapel Hill (Dr. Illona Jaspers) submitted a talk at an AAAS conference in Washington this week. I don't know whether her research has been published or if she is simply providing preliminary results. In either case, her conclusion is that e-cigs can suppress immune...

A New "Formaldehyde Study." This Time They Did it Right

They compared it to cigarettes and to various "exposure limits" set by various health and academic organizations. The TL;DR is that formaldehyde was very close (and usually over) the exposure limits, but still lower than smoking. Acetaldehyde levels were much, much lower than smoking and below...

    DNA 200 Watt

Thanks. Did not know this. Makes it much better. Now one of the complaints a lot of people had is no more. ("Oh but I have to log into escribe to do anything.")

    DNA 200 Watt

I like that I can adjust temp from the main screen and like that you can save wire types in escribe (without having to load a new .csv every time). It would still be nice, though, if the device itself could save these wire types even if they aren't in use by a profile.

Lol I love google translate. Now I know how the Germans feel when I go on their forums asking questions.

75W Vaporesso TARGET 2 VTC Kit with Ceramic cCELL Coil

The only apprehension I have about doing all of this is that there is cotton in the coil. Not sure how well cotton can withstand dental tabs or water rinsing before affecting the taste of the vape.

Reuleaux RX 200 or Dna 200?

If you want accuracy, go with the DNA-200. If you want support and a better warranty, go with the DNA-200. If you want a much better screen, go with the DNA-200. If you want access to forums where the owner and engineer actually post and answer questions, go with the DNA-200. If you like...

    Joyetech Cubis

Yihi chips pulse like that. I never owned the SX350 but I did have the cheaper version in my IPVD2 and the pulsing drove me crazy. I don't get it on my Joyetech boards or the DNA-200. As for the Cubis coils, I have found that a TCR between .110 and .140 works the best. It "feels" about...

I've revisited my Cubis and now am really enjoying it. It's my ADV. Of course, I don't have the RBA yet, but I like the stock coils well enough.
