That's 4 volts not 4 watts. These studies used a cheap ego-style clearo and cranked it up between 4 and 4.8v. No one vapes that. Essentially they burned the wick and the juice. Temperature control in our mods completely solves this issue.- BigEgo

Eleaf iStick 100w TC
After looking at that page, it looks like a really nice budget TC device. Has upgradeable firmware and adjustable TCR (two musts for me). If it is priced anything like the original iStick 100w, I will have to pick one up. -

It makes no difference at all whether you sub-ohm or not. I see no advantage to doing it on regulated mods, but it can be necessary on mechs.- BigEgo

According to the paper I linked it is slightly wrong. 316L is .000879 and 317L is .00094. And the UD wire should be legit from what I can tell.
