I sincerely apologize for anything I did wrong, or for any breach of etiquette. That would never be my intention.
Regardless of the fact that I'm new here, I'll be more mindful of what, where and how I post.
I'm also a happy ego Twist owner. It was lucky for me that they were just released as I was about to purchase my first ego C kit (Cignot was willing to upgrade my kit from the standard batteries). They look great, they work great - and they don't cost much. Whats not to love! :)
Thank you Deb! A "longer" needle! Eureka! That's what I need! My first few tries were messy - and I kept thinking if only the needle wasn't so short, it might work better. I think I've got one that I bought a while back. I'll giver it a shot.
I hope that your battery woes are well behind you!
Thank you Harleydiva!
I actually used a condom from an old carto the first time I tried using the syringe last week.
Problem was that the plunger wouldn't pull back. I read yesterday that you should first pull the plunger back, place the needle into the liquid, push the plunger down (forcing air...
Thank you for your reply!
Speaking of 'air in the syringe'... that's the one thing that I can't seem to get right.
What I've been doing is (and I know that is totally incorrect) to remove the plunger from the syringe and filling the liquid in from the top of the syringe, and then replacing the...
Is it okay to refill the Phoenix BCs when there's still some liquid left inside?
I've been refilling the TCs where there's still some liquid inside without any problems (though from my experience the TCs gurgle like crazy).
Thank you Daniel. After I placed my initial order with Highbrow, I also placed my first order with Rawr (based on the suggestions in this thread). The order just arrived and I can't wait to try them out (I've only heard wonderful things about Rawr). I ordered JY4, Sugared Peaches, Strawberry...
Thank you again EleanorR and Lasttango for suggesting Highbrow Vapor. I ordered Blueberry and Apple - and added Orange de Sangre and Straberry Lemonade to my first order. I decided to let them steep - except for Orange de Sangre. Holy cow!... I couldn't believe how delicious and natural tasting...
Agreed - cleaning seems to make a difference. But there are endless opinions on the best way to approach atty cleaning. In my case, after cleaning, I do dry burns till I see the coil glow red. But sometimes I wonder if I'm overdoing the dry burns.
Thank you for the congrats! After 44 years of smoking poison, I will NEVER go back! Believe me, I enjoy vaping a thousand times more that I ever enjoyed smoking!
As for the hardware, I love discovering new gadgets and gizmos that enhance the experience. In the short time that I've been vaping...
Thank you 79Silo! The information you've provided is important to me.
Please bear in mind that I've been vaping for a short time (today marks 6 weeks that I quit smoking!) - so I'm still learning! I'll keep those numbers in mind when I drip later today.
I also wasn't aware until recently that...
I'd drip in about 4 or 5 drops and then I'd wait for a few seconds and start vaping. The result is usually not too good, so I add in a few more drops - and keep adding till it finally starts to vape better. But by that point, I usually wind up flooding the atty. I usually have the Twist battery...
I like the idea of dripping (especially when trying a new e liquid) but my results aren't very satisfying.
I use a Joye LR atomizer on an ego Twist.
I start with a clean the atty, and do a thorough dry burn. I then drip about 3 - 4 drops - and get nothing more than a tiny amount of vapor and a...
