Repost from an older thread...
I dont think its expressed clearly for people the real differences between LV & HV.... LV is running a single 3.7v battery and HV by stacking batteries usually 3.0v or 3.7v batteries... I myself find that it really comes down to the ohm's of the atomizer coil...
awwww man I never get to have any fun... its always just a simple misunderstanding or lack of communication from time zone differences... shucks.... Just a user modified GGTB... and Kal your a good man... no worries you didn't know that a SN for a GGTB wasn't done so you thought nothing of it as...
I think you should get $250.00 back.... Playing with my money is like playing with my emotions... and a pain and suffering tax should be in order... least thats how we do it in the hood...
My 773 is my all day everyday.... shes got some miles and road rash on her but she earned it.... my other sits as an emergency backup device and hardly ever sees daylight.... and both my Ody are in constant rotation... but I bought my 773 to use it and she takes a lickin and keeps on tickin...
I would imagine so as you have nothing to impede the flow of liquid... setting it up that way is like vaping the UFS fully open... you may be able to use it that way but would need to use the top ring to set your juice control before filling... ideally using 2 rings...
Then we will agree to disagree... I run both set ups personally and even with fresh AW IMR pushing 8.4v with a 2.5ohm Ody coil... the biggest difference between HV & LV is what I call drag time... HV requires less drag or pull for large vapor clouds but comes with a much harder TH and diminished...
I vape 0.9ohm Dual Coil @ 4.2V with fresh AW IMR which is pushing 19.6watts... or I run 2.5ohm to 3ohm @ 8.4v with fresh AW IMR which is pushing between 23.52 to 28.224watts... So I guess I am way out of the normal spectrum from what your saying... but boy is it at close to an analog as I have...
I do have the bottom o-ring on one of my ODY mediums as I havnt taken it apart yet to take it off it works well... really the problem o-ring is the top one but it works well without any o-rings on the window also....
I will advise to remove the o-rings around the acrylic window as they may swell and make it impossible to remove the top cap without breaking the window... I know this from wrecking the window myself and the o-ring was to blame... it does not leak without the o-rings so no worries there....
