Interesting. I think the price on the eGo-C will fluctuate through the rest of the year and probably stabilize first of 2012. I paid $69.99 USD with free shipping and got a freebie Ovale lanyard with the kit. I don't think this price is outrageous by any means but much higher than this and I...
Re: VV eGo battery - Who has that in stock in the US?
Looking over shoulder to make sure wife is not around. "I promise honey. I won't spend any more $$ on vaping stuff."
Kent C - Thanks for the tip on aligning the atty slots with the tank slots! This does give a smoother draw and I think it also improves wicking. I am using 100% VG juice and most of it is thick so this simple alignment seems to help.
Another thought: My wife loves the eGo-C because she doesn't...
1000Volts - I gotta vote for the eGo. I am a noob also and started with a Super Mini e-cig which was not bad but the battery life was lacking. The second kit I got was an eGo from Liberty Flights and I love it. I am a very moderate vaper. I usually don't pick it up until after lunch and then...
Got my eGo-C today. I have been vaping on it all evening and am on my second tank of my favorite juice - Boba's Bounty. Here are some initial impressions.
I was interested in a tank system but was concerned about the fiddling factor I had heard some eGo T users talk about. Leaking tanks...
Another good juice from AVE!
Irish Cream VG 12mg - Alien Visions
From the AVE Website:
Vaping this on my eGo with a Boge LR 2.0 ohm carto. The vapor production is very plentiful as with most VG juice. Nice clouds!
Throat hit is relatively mild compared to some of the other AVE juices I have...
I soaked the tips in vinegar for almost three hours and they still stink like plastic. Dang!
Now i'm gonna try the lemon juice soak. I am open to other suggestions. Maybe the microwave or boiling? Maybe vodka? Maybe I should just drink the vodka and then I won't care if they stink.
I picked up my eGo today and the plastic taste on the drip tips is back. The baking soda seemed to work but may taste/smell may have been masked by the beer I was drinking last night? :toast:
I am going to try the vinegar dip and then the lemon juice idea if the vinegar doesn't work. These tips...
dham340 - Thanks for the review on the eGo-C. I think mine is going to be delivered Monday. I am going to camp by the mailbox as I also have some Copper Creek House Blend and Coffee juice coming that may get here Monday as well. :2cool:
Here's a cool graphic I found on the Joyetech site:
It appears that the baking soda worked! The nasty plastic taste/odor on the drip tips is gone. I left them soaking in the baking soda for a couple hours and they seem very clean with no aftertaste.
I also tried blowing out one of the new cartos before I filled it. I did not notice any primer...
Trevor just replied to my inquiry and stated that the eGo C attys are arriving this week. He also mentioned they would have both the standard and the new low resistance!
ETA: SR are 2.2ohm and LR are 1.8ohm. Man they are fast with the emails!
Ok...I have two shot glasses filled with baking soda slurry and will let them soak for an hour or so.
In the meantime I am going to open another one of the boge cartos and see if there is a primer smell. I knew this about the attys, blow out the new ones and re-prime them with juice before I...
I got some delrin drip tips in today with some new boge cartos and the drip tips have a terrible plastic taste. I tried washing them under hot water and then rinsing and I still get the plastic taste. I also tried using a dab of dish soap on them...no luck. These drip tips look and feel nice but...
