    that explains it. The preferred ribbon is .06mm x .07mm and you can only get it from this guy. I just bought 4 x 50 ft rolls.

    off the bat, it looks like the individual ribbons are not twisted tightly enough to fold over itself. It looks a little too wide too. What size ribbon are you using? The vendor on ebay is selling the preferred ribbon again.
