THIS IS A MULTIPLE CHOICE POLL This is a public opinion poll designed to reflect the opinions, attitudes, and experiences of the vaping community. Ok is it just me or do E-Liquid manufacturers need to do their part?

Brad, Interesting accounts of your FDA experience. Thanks for that.

Please classify your first cigarette experience for my research- A Dubd1c3 Poll

BCB, in the context of my intentions of the poll, you selected the "correct" choice. Early in my smoking career, I recall smoking self-machined cigarettes. OH MAN I couldn't even walk!

It's almost like electronic cigarettes woulda/coulda/shoulda been called "nico-rettes..."

When you think about it... The word cigarette kind of means "little cigar" or "female cigar" Assuming the brand name never existed, nico-rette would be quite an accurate descriptor of the device. I have heard a campaign for calling them "vaporettes" - interesting, yet somehow not quite...

Please classify your first cigarette experience for my research- A Dubd1c3 Poll

Hi, I'm Dubba, and I've turned e-cig research into something of a hobby of mine. I have amassed many many articles, studies, etc. on both e-cigs and smoking. I created this poll after reading a study that suggested there is a genetic link to initial smoking pleasure. I had my first...

Ok is it just me or do E-Liquid manufacturers need to do their part?

Really? Because most "starter" kits cost A LOT MORE than a pack of smokes. The price of the e-liquid seems auxiliary to the initial cost of beginning to vape. Most vapers have agreed to pay $40-150 to try vaping. If the price of e-liquid goes up I'd only complain because it used to be...

    5v Passthrough

I have guessed that topping off the cartos is important. When you start getting drier and drier hits, it starts tasting.. drier and drier. As a cartomizer gets dry it continues to hit consistently (good) but the properties of vapor taste and harshness change (bad). I have heard that perhaps...

    5v Passthrough

I agree, I have a 510 USB passthrough and I've seen great success with it. Looking at 306 USB passthrough- I sense the lower voltage may bring out more flavor...

510/306/808 Batteries: Max power till end or gradual decrease in power?

Ah, I totally see what's going on now, on the inside. Kind of makes me want to get an eGo. I wonder how those stack up in power consistency.

510/306/808 Batteries: Max power till end or gradual decrease in power?

When you fully charge a battery and start using it as intended, does the battery exhibit max performance until the end and just cut out and blink, or do you experience a decline in "vapability" as the battery discharges? If the latter is the case, do you find yourself swapping batteries...

    Hi

So, what does the eGo "take?" 510 atty/cart? 510 Cartomizer? 808? Confused.

    Considering a Joye 510

Blu, PAH! I have Blu as well. It's not even satisfying enough for me to give away, so it just sits in a box. Blu is the L88B model, 'super-mini.' Perhaps adequate for the social smoker, but not so much for people whose cigarettes meet them at various crucial points in the day.

    Considering a Joye 510

I agree with SRT. I rock 510 passthrough with cartomizers and they're awesome. Also with the cartomizers, if you get the right ones they're super easy to refill- what I do is use the same carto for a week, I am a medium vaper. No problems. I just top em off.

Hello, I'm dubd1c3/dubdice/dubba! I have turned e-cig research into a hobby of mine.

First of all, I would like to say thank you to all who have welcomed me onto ECF so far. I look forward to finally engaging in two-way comms regarding these life-saving devices. I call both East Lansing and Ann Arbor my home equally. It's true that there are many Michiganders on this forum...

Hello, I'm dubd1c3/dubdice/dubba! I have turned e-cig research into a hobby of mine.

MsSki, you don't have to tell me twice. Searching for anything returns about 100 pages of results ha. Mist, the name refers to DoubleDice, a fictitious pimp I made up for a skit I did in high school. Ha! Not related to dubstep or dub house etc. I am well familiar with Stop Ecig Ban Now-...
