Yuppers. That's how I was raised. My kids school is crazy. Yuppie private school so I guess they are worried that the entitled parents will be disappointed if their child isn't recognized. Well hey!!! My parents didn't let me win? There were no trophies for participation like there is now. You got 1st, 2nd, or 3rd....otherwise you lost. And I did tons of competitive stuff. :) And yes, I let kids win a lot. But I make it a challenge. They aren't just given the easy win.- Southern Tina
