    Homemade Clapton Jig

Awesome idea. Am I the only one who has tried using non-ball bearing swivels, lubricating them with vegetable oil to keep them from binding up? Seems to work just fine for me.

    RDA Round-Table Discussion and Lookout

Just got my first "modern" RDA. Atty3 by Motofo. I like it. Beats the hell out of my old as dirt EHPro Flash. At least I can put multi-core claptons in this thing without a problem. Not to mention the airflow being...........there isn't an adjective that fits.........superior to the EHPro...

    Twisted clapton

I have some pre-made twisted clapton wire. 2x 28 gauge core with 32 gauge outer. I don't know why, but I prefer a good old fused clapton instead of that. Something about the fused clapton just seems to taste better. Also I find that the twisted fused clapton seems to gunk up faster. Although...

    Geekvape Griffin 25MM!

Damnit, now I'm going to need a lot more wire and one of these. I already love the standard Griffin RTA, and now this.

    New to Claptons

Wire wizard If you click on wire builder at the bottom, where it says single wire, you can choose clapton coils. Claptons generally require more power in my experience. But it's worth it for the flavor they give off

Well, this idea didn't work. Severe leaking lol

    RTA used as RDA?

That's why I bought my EHPro Flash. but the airflow is just horrible, and wicking it as a tank is just....not possible.

    RTA used as RDA?

Well, I just had an idea, and I'm wondering if anyone here has ever tried using an old RTA that they don't regularly use, as an RDA instead. I''m asking this because the only RDA I have, an EHPro Flash, has AWFUL airflow. I plan to correct this some time this week with a bench vice and a drill...

Best sub ohm tank for mouth to lung hits??

I would say something with tight airflow (so that the pull draws juice into the wick and coil), good juice flow, and a coil (or duals) with a fast ramp-up time.

Anybody really use an ohm meter anymore?

Nope. I use calculators as a guide, and my Wismec Reuleaux RX200 tells me what I'm getting. It doesn't allow shorts or anything below a certain amount.

The New Official Post Your Coil Porn Thread

well, the Element E-liquid I am using is 80/20 pg/vg. So I hope you're right. Now I feel silly for breaking out the one single pair of fused laptons that I ever got working, and putting them in. I really liked the way they hit, but wicking them was a major PITA because of the coil I.D. Also...

The New Official Post Your Coil Porn Thread

I actually have been using swivels. I just find it difficult to sit there and spin the whole thing, while feeding the wire in, very slowly so the wrap doesn't get messed up. And now, I'm dealing with this. Which appears to be rust, but I can't be completely certain. Is this rust? These coils...

The New Official Post Your Coil Porn Thread

I went 24/28 because I'm low on higher gauge wire. I wasted a LOT of it, trying to make fused claptons, which I just gave up on all-together. I need to switch over to something other than Kanthal. The ramp up time on these coils is horrible.

    Geekvape Griffin RTA!

In case anyone is scrolling through this thread, and STILL hasn't decided on getting the Geekvape Griffin RTA That's 7 wraps of 24 gauge core, 28 gauge wrap, clapton, 2.5 mm inner diameter, in this bad boy. Reading .32 ohms. I honestly didn't think it was possible to get coils this big into an...
