I gotta say, the glass on the Griffin is nice. I've dropped mine so many times now and the glass isn't even scratched. Let alone cracked or chipped. -

So, I just had to clean my coils (heat then quench method) because I was getting some burnt flavor. Replaced the wicking, primed the coils and the wicking. Got instant leakage, even with the juice channels closed 90%. The only solution I can find, is to leave the tails longer, so they go down... -

I'm certain of that. However convincing my parents to let me spend that kind of money at once, is another thing. Especially if I can't guarantee that I will like the flavor etc. (shouldn't be a problem much longer. This is my last week of IT classes with ECPI, should be getting a decent job... -

10ml bottles. They last me about two days a piece. As for flavor, hard to say since I end up mixing them all together. The lex12 is menthol like Vicks Vapor rub, with a slight creamy undertone (sounds weird, I know). The ZigZag is pure menthol flavor. -

$5.99 for the Lex12, $6.99 for the ZigZag. Both taste pretty decent. Definitely a stronger menthol taste than the Modster Ejuice I bought from a vape shope. I also had a bottle of Millenium Potion "menthol". But that tasted like double mint gum. Not bad, just not what I was looking for. -

Perhaps. I am using Lex12 and ZigZag menthol juice from the gas station. I know I shouldn't be, but The nearest vape shop to me is like 40 miles away. One of the many downsides to living in the boonies. -
Confused about wire.
Basically, I'm wondering if there is a guide out there, which talks about the different kinds of wire. Up until now, I've been using all kanthal, even for my fused/regular clapton coils. So basically, if I wanted to switch over to using Nichrome in my claptons, what do I need to know about it...- TrikStari

I find it weird that I seem to be the only person who tucks their wicks all the way down into the juice channels. If I don't, I get leaking. -

Never used a crown tank, but I love my Griffin. Soooo much better than the Kanger Subtank Mini or the Zephyrus V2. So much room. The only advice I have is to get a Torx T5 screw driver for the screws in the velocity deck posts. DO NOT use the included allen key, because you WILL round them out... -

I have to agree with @Vaping!!!Jables I love my Griffin. The screws ARE delicate, but man this thing is easy as heck to wick. Easily beats my old Kanger and Zephyrus V2. -

You should try making some clapton wire. Single core really isn't that hard. All you need is a drill, a couple of fishing line swivels, a 2x4, a nail a bench vice, and some core wire and wrap wire. You use the swivels to attach the core wire to the nail in the 2x4, which is held by the bench... -
