Clapton Coil question
I've made sure of all of those. The only thing I can think of is that the thin outer wire is breaking and causing a short when I tighten down the post screws. I have the exact same setup. I had some leaking issues, but I switched back to the coil that came with it until I can get some new wire and do a better job. -

When you add a second coil, the resistance is halved. Assuming both coils are the same. If you put in two coils, that individually would read .4 ohms, you would end up with .2 instead. You also need more power to run dual coils (from what I understand). Other than that, you get more vapor... -
