    Gurgling... sounds like it's flooded. Blow it out (the atomiser) onto a paper towel. It wont be producing much vapour at all while it's flooded. Put maybe 2 - 3 drops back in the atomiser before you go again. Atomisers work best when you drip them, imho anyway.
